I'd be a bit surprised if he got a HC gig right now. He probably needs to be a DC for another successful tenure before he gets back on the HC circuit.

He's close with MLF so my hope is that they're in touch about the possibility of Hafley leaving and that Saleh will wait on the Packers if a HC gig isn't in the cards.

Hollywood Brown makes a ton of sense as a deep threat to replace Watson next season

Asante Samuel & Nick Bolton are other guys on that list that would seem to make a lot of sense

The concern I have of Hafley leaving is like 2.7%.

Differences in schedule for the NFCN next season. Of course there are always teams who are better/worse than the previous season.

Packers
at Cardinals
at Broncos
Panthers

Lions
at Rams
at Chiefs
Bucs

Vikings
at Seahawks
at Chargers
Falcons

Bears
at 49ers
at Raiders
Saints

All other games are division games + NFC East + AFC North

Packers have a super fun and challenging home schedule next year. The QBs scheduled to come to Lambeau next year

Lamar Jackson
Joe Burrow
Jayden Daniels
Jalen Hurts
Bryce Young
Jared Goff
Caleb Williams
Whoever Minnesota's starting QB is

It's weird that they're announcing it like this. Not sure I've seen a team put out a statement when they've interviewed someone. Usually they just leak that to their media buddies and then announce the hire.

The past few years teams have been really into this.

Go to the Bears twitter account, for instance. They have similar announcements for Arthur Smith, McCarthy, Flores, etc.

It sucks that I'm not sure the Packers gained an advantage over the Vikings for taking 3rd. Lions definitely got it a bit tougher with the Chiefs but you could convince me of any order for the NFC West next season and Broncos/Chargers is probably a wash. We'll see with the Young/Penix (pedophile joke goes here) but I'm not sure there's a huge difference between Carolina and Atlanta next year.

Bears certainly got a break - though I think the 49ers will have one last hoorah.

Yeah, most teams do it now. Even some coordinator position interviews get announced, like the Niners putting out their coordinator interviews.

I'd imagine if the Packers were ever in a situation of interviewing HC's they'd still keep it under wraps and just let the insiders get the info out, even though I must say, their social media game has gotten way better.

Looking forward to seeing which games I get in my package. I will have 2 next year, home game 2 and home game 5. This year I got the extra one and had 3. Turned out to be the 3 division games. Turned out to be 3 losses. I'd love to see Lamar and Jayden as my top 2 choices.

Huh, didn't notice that. I'm not sure what led to that change and who it serves.

Yeah, they really need to beef up the front line. I'll be pounding the table for interior defenders and edge rushers come draft time.
