Who is CoJo?

And absolutely positively NEVER giving any value for Jonathan Isaac. Jabari Smithbis hurt for several more weeks at least and we are moving up for the playoffs NOW.

Houston pick is looking worthless - they would have to send four and the better ones they own with this package.

And we aren’t trading Fox so just quit.

For Fox we're going to need the Thompson kid.

And Smith and Sheppard or Eason. And still add in three or four picks because they just aren’t that good.

All NBA level players just starting their prime and who are clutch leaders perennially get max packages or they don’t get traded.

Yeah, if Fox was this cheap, more than a couple teams would jump up and outbid this offer.

Thompson is off limits and Kings fans are delusional if they think Houston is sending him out. Personally I think Monte is equally delusional and the Kings will lose Fox for nothing but let me adjust the trade with Sheppard.

Houston is not giving Smith and Eason full stop. Maybe Sheppard. You are going to have to route VanVleet to a 3rd team to make the dollars work..

Kings out: Fox Len
Kings in: Isaac, Sheppard and Smith Jr., 2027 PHX 1st

Houston out: Smith Jr, Sheppard and PHX 1st
Houston in: Fox, Cole Anthony

Orlando out: Isaac, Cole Anthony
Orlando in: Van Vleet, Alex Len.

Since it is mostly Kings fans complaining I will address them…

Jonathon Isaac at least provides some shot blocking and switchability on defense. Something the Kings don’t have at all. Smith Jr. (assuming the Rockets would give him up) fits perfect as a 4 next to Domas as a 5. He can hit the 3 and blocks a shot a game. The Monk Domas pick and roll with Keegan, Ellis and Smith on the perimeter would be impossible to stop.

Depending on matchup you can either go:
Sabonis, Smith, Murray, Deebo, Monk
* this line-up has size everywhere but Sabonis

Sabonis, Smith, Murray, Ellis, Monk.
* 3 very good wing defenders with length

Need to switch everything to close out a possession
* Isaac, Smith, Keegan, Ellis, Carter.

Kings don’t have any of those options available to them currently. This team is far better than the team we have today because it can lock down on defense while still having the Sabonis/Monk 2 man game and the Deebo ISO game.

This lineup is far more likely to make noise in the playoffs then our current roster and it’s not close…

Monk, Carter, Sheppard
Ellis or Deebo, Huerter, Jones
Murray Or Deebo, Crowder
Smith or Murray, Lyles, Jones
Sabonis, Isaac.

Just because Jabari was the 3rd overall pick doesnt make him a real asset, this is a pretty useless return for the Kings. Smith isn't better than Murray or Sabonis. Sacramento would trade an all star at an important position for a backup.

Fine add more picks and Smith is not a back-up at Houston. Small for Big is never equal either and that is what the Kings need desperately.

Smith is 3 years younger than Keegan and better.

Semantics. They're both mediocre.

Well yea, most prospects are mediocre.

That is not what gives them value.

Smith has a 105.9 defensive rating and shoots 35% from 3. I will take that kind of mediocre in a 6’10” wing everyday.

How many of the all stars are currently even available?

How many are represented by Klutch, in a small market and refusing to sign an extension?

How many players have knocked back an extension from their team when a supermax contract is still achievable? I'll help you out. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Conversation over.

Stop watching the national noise that has zero meaning inside Sacramento.

Stop getting on the jock of a player (Isaac) who is glaringly obviously broken and whose numbers don’t help when he can only be played twenty minutes a night and has to be rested games. He’s no different than Harry Giles.

Stop being in the attack against Monte. The team is developing and moving in the right direction.

Stop trying to trade one of our top two players as if you are a fan from another team for a bag of chips and a pretzel.

Smith is NOT a “wing”. He’s a skinny PF who they are trying to get to shoot more. He gets abused underneath and therefore is “mediocre” and not worth real talent.

This stuff is all non starter anyway because unless Houston is willing to pony up real talent and assets, there is no conversation. And as was said above, if Fox were actually in the market, there would be ten teams lined up with a better offer by far.

Rather have firsts than Smith or Issac,,, smith isnt on a good enough trajectory.. Isaac not good enough and injury prone..
