We knew someone would go down when Mark came back. We can't ever have nice things.

Gonna limit his ability to lift properly for months id imagine, so it’s gonna take a ton of work just to get him back physically to where he is right now. So much for that big strength jump I was hoping he would come into this season with. That’s two years away now. Just the cherry on top of the **** sundae that has been his disappointingly underwhelming campaign this year

News: Brandon Miller had surgery to repair a torn scapholunate ligament in his right wrist and is officially out for the rest of the season.

I'll save everyone a click. Anyway glad he went ahead and had the surgery done. Better chance that he'll be ready by training camp

yeah i think we knew this was coming, sucks that we can't go one season without one core piece missing like 70% of the season. hope this injury doesn't mess with his shot too much, he's kind of a nobody if he can't shoot

yeah you definitely hope this doesn't affect his shooting too much. My hope is he spends the next six months dribbling with his left hand. :lol:

dribbling, shooting, driving, everything hard to the left to open up his game. he can do all that with his right hand casted.

can still also get in the squat rack and work on them pencil legs

Pencil legs are genetics. Some people are just born with smaller legs.

I train my legs daily and they still small despite me squatting more than people with bigger legs. Genetics plays a huge role. Also most NBA players have pencil legs. Guys like KD and MPJ have similar builds. Luckily this is basketball and big legs don't mean anything.

Miller just needs to put on some weight and get stronger in the weight room.

How tall do they say Miller is when he is announced during the starting lineups? I pretty much never tune in til after they are announced.

I'm asking because hes listed at 6'9" on bbref and listed as 6'7" pretty much everywhere else. I never thought he was actually 6'9" (in shoes). I would have guess around 6'6.5" to 6'7" barefoot and about 6'7.5"-6'8" in shoes. 6'7" in shoes seems a little low imo, but not out of the realm of possibility. There isn't any measurement consistency and some players are listed by their barefoot height, so maybe the 6'7" is supposed to be his barefoot height?

Its not a huge deal necessarily, but I really think they should bring back the standardized measurement rule they had in place for that one year.

He is a few inches taller than Bridges and Melo for sure who are both listed at 6-7. 6-9 feels about right for me.

he's definitely closer to 6'9

I think our team measurements are all out of wack. Bridges is listed at 6'7 this year (never had been at any other point of his career btw) and there's no way he and Miller are the same height

I don't think he looks 6'9", but I don't think he looks 6'7" either (neither seem impossible either tbf). I also think the 6'7" heights for LaMelo and Bridges look exaggerated and I think I remember them being listed at 6'6" the year that there were standardized measurements.

My best guess is the players are listed by whatever height they say and Miller gave his barefoot measurement, which might be what the 6'7" is. Many players are still listed the same as their barefoot height from the combine even though there are a bunch that are obviously exaggerated now.

If he is also listed as 6'7" during lineups for home games I'll probably assume he is 6'7" barefoot and 6'8" is his "NBA height".

Really worried about him bouncing back from this injury...yes Jaylen Brown and Bradley Beal had the same injuries...but not on their shooting hands. Worrisome to say the least.

assuming mark's 7-foot height is legit, then best guess at actual height???
mark = 7
miller = 6'10"
miles = 6'7"
melo = 6'5"
