They've been out for long stretches this season... that's the point and the team's level hardly drops... because of SGA....

The better teammates cop out has to stop

Because they are down 14 on the second night of a B2B against a very good Mavs team?

Well OKC is winning now. They are a deep team. I know Mavs are missing Lively and Luka. Still what the Thunder are doing is impressive

Has Jokic ever “officially” averaged a triple double like Russ did?

He’s next level this year

Does anybody think that Jokic has a better supporting cast than SGA this season? Unless you think that SGA has been a tier or two above Jokic this season (which I don’t see many people argue), the debate is over whether the gap in supporting casts explains most of the gap in team performance or ~all of it.

Not the original poster but:

Mavs are 7-3 (.700) without Luka but Kyrie playing this season.

They also beat OKC without Luka but SGA playing last month.

They beat OKC, Knicks, Clippers and Denver without Luka..

lebron Peak with refeeres and league protection ?

Jokic is far better player than lebron, lebron is fragile walking ego. He can't anything close to do what Jokic did. Only thing he is better is selling his team and teammates.

After Stern is succesfully cash from Jordan protection, new generation players get more protection then more and more. And nba is turn to circus show, former mvp's half points is offensive foul, new generation gun lover pg all driplings are travellings or carrying, nearly all of step backs threes is travelling.

For what ? marketing lebron and similar shiny players. Who cares about the game ? Who needs game, tiktok followers is much more important today. For a few years later mvp award probably gives to who has more followers.

Only player I can watch is Jokic, pure basketball, Last night I try to watch OKC, for every contact sga try to sell as foul, disgusting.

No one cares what bitter Kobe fans think about LeBron.

Kobe fan !!!!! what an insult. From typical ignorance from a adolescent.
to have an opinion without knowledge.

Kobe was prorotype about wrong basketball. Selfish, worst teammate, ooh that's sick mamba mentality, use all the ball dont care about the team. If dont be a team first star dont care about winning. And all the referre potections.

in 2004 he did basically sold his team to be finals mvp. Because if they won that year shaq got his fourth fmvp.
That way he used all the balls and give the championship to Pistons.

And an LA legend ????Lakers miss the play-off 2 times before Kobe was the main star. And an LA legend ????Lakers miss the play-off 2 times before Kobe was the main star. With Kobe they missed playoffs 5 times.

kobe and lebron seven times together missing the playoffs. 7 of 11 of missed playoffs by the Lakers.

By the way I dont like jordan either, I dont like any selfish basketball player, like doncic or Antetokounmpo.

if nba let the use rules of basketball non of them could be great basketball players as everyone think. Stern opened the way of jordan. basically at 90,ref was calling 26 foul per game aganist to pistons, dumars has gotten 2 of them, after jordan cries then at 91 pistons number was 31,5 pf per game, 4,25 for Dumars.

İf someone ask, tell Bulls won because jordan has fire in his eyes. But I think that was not fire, that was dollar sign and Stern face.

“Jokic is far better player than lebron“ this is absolutely disgusting lol. Peak Jokic is a tier down from peak LeBron

How ?? Could you explain that. If I not remember wrong, he was never won anything without two top ten caliber player as his teammates except bubble with a top 5 teammate.

Could you think Jokic pass the ball Ray Allen instead Braun, pick and roll with the Wade, alley hoop with the Bosh ? Could you imagine that.

No jokic cant dunk not flashy.

I couldn't imagine having so much negative energy towards someone like this... and especially when you consider how wrong/biased this person is.

Which part is wrong and biased ? Lebron's fragile ego ? is protection ? selling his teammates ? is Travelling or carrying ? is offensive fouls ?

Offensively, Jokic in Miami would be a better fit cuz how Jokic plays. But it depends on how the coach would play him.

Wade and LeBron play styles clashed a bit. Jokic play style would fit better with Wade. It would've been great. And it solved one thing that Miami was suffering from. The rebounds. Oooh they were so trash in that regard. I don't think Roy Hibbert would be as effective against the Heat with Jokic on the team. The way Jokic would pull him out of the paint and the way he moves off the ball would give the Pacers fits. I would imagine they would try to put David West on Jokic and have Hibbert roam, but I don't think that it would work. I do think Jokic is better offensive player than LeBron in terms of floor. He might be the best in nba history. LeBron at his best has a better ceiling imo.

The defense is what separates them. Although Jokic offensively might be the best ever. I think he fits with almost anything. You can have spacing or no spacing. It doesn't matter, which is crazy. Jokic with Wade and Bosh? I feel the offense would go more smoothly. Defense though? Not as good.

Unless there is a injury or SGA falls off off a cliff in production, I think SGA is going to win it.

Last night, the OKC role players stepped up. They didn't get the W, but they are still great. I don't think it matters though.

Before I thought if Denver gets to the 3 seed or 2 seed, it was going to be close. But I don't really think so anymore. Maybe if Denver goes on some sort of historic run, but I doubt that.

Probably would require a combination of
-OKC winning "only" ~63 games
-Denver winning ~56 games
-Jokic more clearly separating himself form SGA in terms of individual performance
