We just traded Okogie cause he cant shoot.

Dunn's 47% FT is a huge red flag for me longer term.

Narrative can turn pretty quick after a honeymoon rookie year.

Supersmall sample size. 9/19 because he is a low usage wing.

With more reps he easily will go over 60%. He has improved his mechanics and he was at 53% last year at college. Yeah, it wouldn't be a good percentage but decent enough for a tremendous defender.

After watching him face to face against Risacher and Sarr...is he much worse than any of these guys?

We are talking about #1 and #2 in the draft and the gap between them and Dunn didn't look big at all for me.

In a redraft Dunn goes Top 10 for sure.

Who knows how these players develop, but Dunn is a steal for sure.

Watching Dunn and Richards out there crashing the boards brought a smile to my face. Smiles have been far and few between in the last year of watching Suns basketball.

Grabbing some boards and getting some dunks shouldn't be that hard when you're playing alongside Book and KD who attract all the defensive attention. Were finally figuring out we need some size and athleticism

Great, I've a strange feeling he may be the last to do it for the next decade or two.

We traded Okogie because that's what he was signed for, to be traded.

A lot of problems get solved if you make Dunn a regular starter and run him 30+ a game. It really is our best option. The redundancy of Beal, Allen, ONeal, Book, should not interfere with Dunn’s minutes. He does things none of them can do.

Getting Butler would take minutes away from RD too. And is he really a $45 million upgrade?

Play this dude. He is by far our best defender and is doing enough on O to be there. Play your best players Bud.

I agree with everything you said except for the Jimmy Butler part.

Jimmys led 2 teams to the finals in the last 4 years, Dunn is nowhere near him. I don't see Jimmy as taking Dunn's minutes, Dunn is a great young prospect and you want Dunn playing alongside Jimmy and learning from him, he can easily play the 4 or even some smallball 5 if we were to go Tyus/Book/Jimmy/Dunn/Richards or Book/Jimmy/Dunn/KD/Richard

No, he's not worse, but he's 22 and they are both 19. That's a big difference. He's also playing with a lot better players. Way too early to judge those guys.

Booker was in his 4th year and took a major big step at the age of 22. Dunn's kind of an old rookie despite only 2 years in college.

I don't think Dunn is untouchable and the Marion comparisons are premature and I do not envision him being anything close to Marion but maybe he could be like Nick Anderson who always struggled with his free throw shooting?

In regular season games this might not be super important but if he's a consistently poor free throw shooter that will affect his minutes in clutch situations.

Dunn is 22 since a couple weeks ago and both Risacher and Sarr will be 20 in April. He is actually just 2 years older than them but I understand what you are saying about their upside.

Kind of an older scouting report from about a year ago. But still important because it demonstrates the key factors and traits that make a prospect like Dunn so impactful. And also illustrates what we should he targeting in our draft prospects too so we can pull more impact/ value from our pick ranges!

"Favorite role player? Ryan Dunn."

Kevin Durant on Ryan Dunn as the Phoenix Suns rookie scored eight points for Candace's Rising Stars in loss to Shaq OGs in NBA All-Star semifinals.

Durant said Dunn "has a chance" to be an All-Star someday.

"I'm glad Ryan was able to come out there and play on Sunday night. Something for him to aspire to and be in. Sunday night is a special time. Those rookies that were on the floor tonight, they looking at us as All-Stars, get some inspiration when they come back out there and play. I'm sure we'll see a few of those guys playing on Sunday night as well. Ryan has a chance."
