The fact remains we got to 3rd place by having one of the easier schedules to open the season. Despite having the easier schedule Thibs has already ran the team into the ground by pretty much playing 7 deep so far this season. All of our starters are tired and in the upper echelon in MPG. The writing on the wall tells us the losses are going to come fast and steady now that we have the toughest schedule the rest of the way.

We want a coach that will distribute the minutes better and have a sense of in game strategy so come playoff time we aren't dropping like flies similar to last season. Thibs historically puts all his chips in during the regular season and never saves anything for the post season. Majority of us are sick and tired of it.

Exactly this. There are coaches around the league (and out of it) who can maximize the talent of the team. People want to talk about Johnnie Bryant, but even Noah LaRoche (the assistant from the Grizzlies) is a great offensive mind that has that team’s offense with the greatest 1 season point increase at 12.5 ppg greater. Heck, just look at what Doug Christie was able to do in Sacramento.

If fans don’t see that we lose based on schemes defined by the coach, I don’t know what else to say.

Any player that even gets an inch close to the middle of the floor means the defense must collapse cuz God forbid the opposition scores in the sacred all mighty paint. In this particular play not only are we stupid to double Randle who looked at the rim all but 2 times the entire night but there was so much miscommunication between Hart, JB, OG and Precious that they left two players pretty much wide open on the perimeter cuz of their over help on defense.

Here's another example. Look how far off they sag from the perimeter just cuz Randle is inching towards the paint. This isn't the players fault! This is what they are coached to do!

Scheme and execution def need tinkering and improvement. The only good thing I can see from this scheme is that it limits the attempts. I think teams are averaging in the bottom ten in 3pt attempts against us which is good but the percentage def needs to get down.

If they are averaging in the bottom ten in 3 pt attempts, we are averaging the top 3 in points allowed from the 3 by opponents. So say opponents are only averaging 30 shot attempts from 3, but we are allowing them to hit 20 of them, that’s horrible man.

Anyone who thinks Rick Brunson can coach anything but his own son is kidding themselves. Not many teams will bring in a fresh new outside coach mid season unless it's one that has a proven track record. Unfortunately, we stuck with elite talent and mediocre coaching for the rest of this season.

Absolute NO to Rick Brunson. Doesn't have to be him though. If it is one of the assistants, then maybe Mark Bryant whom we know as the big man coach. Mo Cheeks has the background. You'd be replacing Thibs with a guy the same age, but he should have the ability to do it for half a season. There's Dice whom may only be a Thibs clone at this point. Andy Greer used to run Minny's defense. Daniel Brady is still relatively inexperienced and Erman got fired by GS for being shady so don't know about those two.

Bryant or Cheeks probably.

Bryant aint no slouch Clyde, he’s got his coaching chops in, he just needs a chance.
