Are we trying to mimic the Laker fans on the GB board with winning moral victories than actual victories? The only legitimate teams the Chiefs should worry about are the Buffalo Bills, who actually won against KC earlier, and Detroit Lions, who should be the SB favorites right now.

There are some on this board that LOVE moral victories. Actually winning the Super Bowl no longer matters to them, only that “they played well and tried hard”, and “they almost made it”.

Yeah, if the Chiefs failed to Three-Peat because the opponents scored on the last drive in the Super Bowl, it's just the same outcome as losing in the Divisional round. So the Chiefs should do like the Cowboys and get it over with early.

If it was guaranteed they wouldn’t win then you would have an excellent point. But seeing as they don’t know they should keep trying.

Like last year's Eagles didnt happen. Or Steelers of two years ago. or 2011 Packers. or 2019 Saints. or 2019 Ravens.

Just about every year there is a team who looks statistically or otherwise worse than its record indicates. They tend to lose early.

The Chiefs were winning of the most without:
1. Brown for most of the season
2. Pacheco for half the season
3. Rice for the season except 4 games

They essentially had to run the offense with a rookie Worthy, Hunt, Kelce & Hopkins, both of them are on the well into their 30's. Fortunately for the Chiefs, most of their players will return healthy for the playoffs. Like I said earlier, the Lions and the Bills pose the biggest threats (tbh the Lions should be favored against KC), so I don't expect seeds 4-7 will be able to shock the Chiefs, especially when they went undefeated against them in the regular season with a banged up offense.

I thought last week you said Cowboys "showed heart" how is that any different than "they played well"?

They did and they’re still losers. I cheered for them for not quitting but they still lost. I’m just not saying they had a great season just because they tried hard. They still lost in the end.

NFL let the Chiefs off the hook last year. That was the time to get them. This year they are better.
