The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Suddenly things are looking much better for the Jazz. The Hornets won, and from this point on the Raptors have the easiest strength of schedule in the league. The Wizards have the second easiest. The Pelicans will accumulate wins now that Zion is back, and the Jazz have the third hardest schedule from this point on.

So, we don't have to sit half of the team to lose?

I hate this blatant tanking (i understand It) but it's killing nba. We you have several teams trying to lose, the regular season it's a joke.

Nba should have two divisions. Better teams promote to better división, worse ones descent to second. Only way to promote winning.

Other idea to stop tanking it's to give selections before season. And all teams same selections.
To say something.
Utah Jazz select:
2025 1st
2026 30th
2027 2nd
2028 29th
2029 3rd
2030 28th

And so on... (Or in another order, but you know what you take, what you trade)

Then, no sense in tanking and sitting guys.

You'll get every picks one time every 30 years.

I do love the wheel idea. Especially because when doing trades you’d know exactly what you’re getting / giving up.

Yeah, this is definitely a black-eye to the league.

The NBA has tried very hard to stop this actually.

We're intentionally throwing games for a 27% chance at Cooper Flagg or Dylan Harper. There's a 73% chance our season ends in complete failure.

There are other good players and the Jazz are in dire need of an infusion of talent. At least for me, it's not top-2 or bust.
