He has some minutes out there with KO who is shooting 45% from three, is that enough spacing for him? It's looked no different.

Giving him a floor spacing big isn't going to magically open up driving lines for someone who can't beat his man off the dribble.

He doesn’t need to beat his man off the dribble…he can just muscle his way into the paint. But that’s not ideal with Poeltl’s big ass in the paint all the time.

Spots minutes with washed Olynyk doesn’t indicate anything. Poeltl takes up spacing in paint on offense and trash rim protector on defense. So not only does Barnes have to provide the spacing by staying out on the perimeter he also has a lot more pressure when defending the best player on the other team.

Unfortunately Scottie has never shown he is a guy who can muscle his way into anything.

The dudes soft for a guy his size.

lol this is hilariously wrong but okay

LMAO what?

Lowest we'd drop is #6 - meaning we'd draft one of Flagg, Bailey, Harper, Kasp, VJ, Maluach - all 6 of these guys would change the trajectory of this team.

realistically only 2-3 of those guys are going to end up being franchise changing players, a drop from 2 to 6 would be pretty devastating.

Also no numbers to back this up but I feel like the worst teams in the league have been dropping in the lottery since Silver changed the odds (which is why he changed them)

Man, just because he does it occasionally doesn't mean he can do it all the time. We saw him not beat up on AJ Green last game. Game before it was Pritchard who he refused to beat up in the post.

AS of now, his "bully ball" stuff we all want to see is currently a big WIP and a maybe. He has not shown for any extended period of time he can be that guy.

It was FVVs fault, and now its Poeltl. At what point do we say its Barnes fault and HE needs to take the initiative to be aggressive and actually improve?
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

2nd worst record is literally the best place to be other than 1st.

Comments like this scare me with how horrible the general population is with numbers and probabilities

Yes, because you are mathematically more likely to drop than move up. That is literally the entire point of the lottery.

Agreed very concerning how unintelligent this fanbase is.

It’s really not that deep. I wasn’t even talking about the actual probabilities it’s more just our bad luck when it comes to the lottery.

Well we did move up to grab Barnes.

But everyone would take #2-#6 vs finishing 5th and possibly dropping to 9th.
