They barely get anything out of Holiday offensively anymore. On a night where 3 other starters **** the bed he's only taking 8 shots??

Draymond just got hurt again. He's probably near retirement.

Dame has his warts, but my god, we'd be utterly **** beyond belief if we were still relying on Jrue lol

Don't worry, the next time Dame has a poor game and only scores 10 points or something, the usual suspects will be out to talk about how much better we'd be with Jrue and Grayson.

Agree. He's a terrific offensive player with a really weird positional fit.

I’m not sure I agree. He moves incredibly well. He’s slender but he’s tall and lanky with great foot speed. He made things real difficult for Wemby last night and was a huge cog in that 3rd quarter run that blew that game open. San Antonio had no answer for Luke Kennard and Aldama specifically. If Santi could add some muscle without losing agility or touch, he could be a stud center in the modern NBA.

He’s the next Naz Reid in the modern nba. He weighed 215lbs four years ago and hasn’t put on any noticeable muscle since being drafted. He’s played 19% of his minutes at center this year and had his best success off the bench on a team that is outscoring everyone. I’ve loved him since he came into the league, but a starting center/defensive stalwart he is not. He is a help defender not an anchor.

Yeah this is probably Jrue's last year clearly above replacement level player, the Dame trade was awesome value wise and always will be.

Just wanna use that to point out how cool it is that Brook found a way to be productive at 36 post back surgery. His ability to adapt is unmatched by anyone not named LeBron

Jrue as a 3rd option was such a nightmare in the playoffs man, he broke my spirit when Jimmy put up 40 on him per game and he refused to give the matchup away to Giannis. Hopefully Celtics fans can get a taste of that this year

We always seem to forget that we’d also have three years control of our draft post Giannis as well. It’s almost like you guys think our franchise folds up in 2028 and those picks hold zero value.

And yes, I understand we had to make some big deal to get Giannis to re-sign. We also had to hire Adrian Griffin and do a bunch of other stuff that hasn’t panned out.

I'm definitely not Dame's biggest fan, but he has so much more trade value than Jrue. I'm also not the least but concerned about the Blazers being able to swap picks with us. They're lottery bound until they hire a competent GM, and I'm not sure their ownership group has that ability.

I get it, PP, opportunity cost is a real thing and I'm not blind to that. And I've said for a long time that Jrue is probably my favorite human who has ever played for the Bucks - just an incredible guy who has always gotten that life is bigger than basketball. But the reality is that our post-Giannis years, we're going to be in trouble as a franchise just chasing to get back to something like the Giannis years (and likely won't be there for a while) - so I'm fine giving up the opportunity to rebuild a little quicker to "plucky first round and out team" if it meant not being saddled with paying Jrue $35 million a year and Grayson $20 million a year (both of which were definitely coming).

Yeah, $55M to Jrue and Grayson, and then those picks get traded in the desperation deal for Jimmy.

Orlando got Banchero back but have been pretty stinky. Think they badly need to target someone who can score/shoot.

holy ****... i just looked up Jrue's deal.

He's in the 1st year of a 4 year deal making 30M, 32, 34 and then a player option at 37.

Nice

Hornets Mavericks is a fun game. Kyrie is such an unbelievably smart and polarizing player. Just like Jesus Shuttlesworth, he’s poetry in motion. Think what you want about him but as a basketball player, he’s 1 of the best to ever do it.
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis

Hindsight, maybe getting him at low value would've been the best move MKE could've done. Age aligned with Giannis much better, get him to a no media market like ours for less attention and ability to put his foot in his mouth. But who knows, very easily could've had a meltdown here quite quickly and been gone and MKE is left with nothing

Every time I watch Klay Thompson I’m just thankful Middleton doesn’t suck nearly as much.

Golden State getting blown out by 40 at home? I don't care if it's Boston, I love it.
