I said winning the conference championship is also an accomplishment.

To you it's either SB or loser; with everyone from SB loser to team with the 1st overall pick on the same loser level.

Well if you lose the SB you can’t call yourself the winner just because you made it to the Conference Championship. If you get there and lose in the conference championship game you are not considered the winner. You lost. You are the loser. There is only 1 winner every season. You don’t get to call yourself the winner when you lost. That’s how it works.

Assuming the Lions and Eagles lose this weekend, their OCs achieved nothing more than the Titans OC, right?

So Jerry Jones would be stupid to interview Ben Johnson and Kellen Moore, but not Nick Holz?

This is just embarrassing now.

I tend to agree.
I guess Quinn had a bad last game too before going to Washington. But he had a much better track record.

Over Aaron Glenn? I'd lean Quinn. But I still don't think Quinn's defensive scheme is that great. The reason they're in the Playoffs is simply because of Jayden.

If you're going to hire a defensive coach, then you want someone who's great scheming things up. Glenn isn't that type of coach. At least on the surface.

Cowboys should interview Ejiro Evero; his team's season was just like that of Aaron Glenn's team.

If you are the Bears, I don't see how you don't get the washington OC as your next head coach

Cowboys should interview Emilio Estevez; he played a damn good Billy the Kid in the Young Guns movies.

The Hawks top 3 candidates last year we're Mike Macdonald, Ben Johnson & Quinn. Macdonald & Johnson we're the final two.

Fwiw I still would take Macdonald over Quinn easily.

I'm just confused if the Lions are losers, whose season went just like the Panthers; what qualifies Aaron Glenn to become a head coach but not Ejiro Evero?

Evero is winner, too, because he was part of the Rams coaching staff that won the SB in the 2021 season.

You’re never going to win this argument, you know that right? You will never be able to convince people that losing in the playoffs is the same as winning the Super Bowl.

Super Bowls won 29 years ago and beyond are irrelevant to present day. There, i said it.

That's not his or anybody else's argument. Argument is super bowl loss better than losing first round or not making the playoffs.

i.e if your excitement level is 100 for winning the super bowl, it is probably 70 for playing in the super bowl, 10 for being a Panthers fan and -10 for being a godless Seahawks fan.

That's not my argument.

Your argument is that every team that didn't win the SB is on the same level of loser.

Reality clearly disagrees with your take (as evidenced by the HC hiring process), and I do as well.

We all know your argument is just cope for your Cowboys' abysmal playoff performance over the last 29 seasons.

If you admit to that, I will drop the topic.
