He's 3rd in blocks in the Gleague. It's hard to look good in the gleague as an 18/19 year old, so this is promising.

He has a very quick first step plus elite size and athleticism for it. It's going to be a lot of growing pains and a long process developing the skill level for the position but I think it makes sense to try him out there.
I think that was a mistake. Walter was listed as a sf
Kaminsky and Chomche also started, Mogbo was playing as a wing.
I know that I’m saying he was playing sf and Walter was the sg and they just mixed it up on the box score.

I really like that look. He has to speed and physical tools fo play PF. If he can shoot the 3 at a decent clip eventually, his ideal spot would be at the 4.
You don't see a ton of Twin tower situations in the NBA anymore. It is refreshing to see......especially at the GLeague level.

At the beginning of the season, someone said Chomche was even more raw compared to 1st year Burno Cabloco. But now it seems Chomche already have a bigger impact in games than Burno's 2nd year. Agree?

Re: The 905, 'sauga world
Since the Raptors don't play until Tuesday, I'd send a bunch of guys to the 905.
Starters-
Shead/Gradey/Walter/Mogbo/Chomche
Bench-
Battle
Robinson
Kaminsky
Omoruyi
Lawson
-Give Gradey a conditioning stint, and the toughest wing/guard to defend, for about 15-20 minutes.
-Give Robinson a preview of our system, before being recalled for the Jan 21 game.
Test out a jumbo lineup mainly for defence
Walter/Mogbo/Chomche/Kaminsky/Robinson
On offence start it as a 5 out, and see what Walter can do with a bunch of screens and lob threats.

You should be getting everyone plus maybe Orlando Robinson too just to get him acclimated. Big club doesn’t play for another 2 days. I’d expect all the rookies plus two ways. Great game to go see.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?
Please advise….

Id keep this lineup there for the rest of the season to try for a G League championship. Sign some vets to min deals to ride out the tank with the big club.

Re: The 905, 'sauga world
The fact the Chomche is a defensive monster, and a somewhat solid screen setter is a good foundation. The fact that he's displaying those skills this early is amazing for development. I'm treating this like it's his freshman college yr.

Wait until you see a foul on an attempted 3.
