This is very good for the tank. No matter what people may feel, this is the best thing for us.

Why did they wait this long to start tanking? Losing to all these bottom teams when you have 5-10+ more wins than them already is a dumb strategy.

Exactly. I actually had some fun watching the first half of the year but now the writing is on the wall. It's time to make a couple of changes to push us further in that direction.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

The refs are in our tank too. They call a foul on a clean block by Smith but Buz gets hammered and no call.

It's very dumb. I can see a path to the 7th worst record if they really want it.

The 76ers should eventually move ahead of us if they can get back Embiid & George on a regular basis. The Nets don't own their pick so even though they're terrible, they might win a few more games to climb ahead of us. I doubt Portland & Charlotte start winning but both organisations might try to win some games after tanking for many years.

I'm also pretty sure Avdija was the one most commonly mocked at our spot. Some people definitely liked Hayes; Hali was more of a dark horse (and a rare time I really, really wanted a guy who panned out even better than I expected).

Yeah there's a chance, but the Sixers seem to be out tanking us for whatever reason.

DENI was the guy for that draft but there was a Hayes and Hali group

Unfortunately, all that "fun" already cost them

I think they actually thought this team would win enough games to make the playoffs. Or at least hoped they would.

I agree..pick a lane and go for it. In this case keep the pick and rebuild.

Hindsight is 2020, but AK could've picked Deni instead of PW. When's the last time Pat had 10 rebounds (which is what Deni has now).

Frustrating to see so many mistakes right now. In theory I want to hold that #8 worst spot - I don't think they'll punt hard enough to pass BKN or POR.

But damn I still want to see the guys play smart against bad teams. It's not like someone's out there telling them to blow these defensive rotations.

Team is so checked out. No 50/50 balls. No aggression.

Will be hilarious when AK does nothing at the deadline.

I think we are at the point the team is finally broken. I think D-Rose night ignited them for a bit, but its over now. This 5 game losing sreak is bad bad bad.

But good good good for changes and keeping our pick.

Donovan's lack of timeouts during long stretches of deplorable/amateur basketball has always puzzled me. Dude, the deficit against a bad team just ballooned to 15 after staying even for the whole game. You've got multiple plays with guys passing out of bounds.

Maybe he's collecting money for the tank, but that's opposite what he says... and it's also been the way he's coached.

Also, his rotations still make no sense. Matas and (almost) Terry have both out-produced Pat in less minutes. Why did THT and Phillips get 2-minute stints instead of them? Just to shuffle the deck for no reason? Lol.
