Pistons could very well likely be buyers, yeah. But we're not shopping at the Bruce Brown store.

Re: Toronto - Detroit (minor move)
Bruce Brown might qualify as a backup PG in Denver, as he can bring the ball up and start a set by getting it to Jokic. But he doesn’t qualify as one in Toronto or Detroit, as we have no one like that to run the offense from the front court. Toronto’s closer in that regard than Detroit with Scottie.
We need a PG. We’re not going to trade from our dubious front court depth (Simone plays some 4, Klintman is a future 4) to take on salary and not solve our problems.
EDIT: Further, if there’s one area we’re already set, it’s athletic wings that can defend with a dubious shot. Don’t send us those.

It’s crazy that you think the Pistons are going to use up their cap space on a rental, trade a frontcourt player when they need frontcourt depth, and trade a small asset in Klintman to do so because of a bleacher report article
Let alone, a blog post based on what Jeff Fisher said.
You clearly don’t follow the Pistons news mill close enough. This is not just a single source.
Even the Pistons talk pod has been buzzing about it:
A few random sources speculated on Ingram to Detroit is one thing. You’re having Detroit take on a player it doesn’t really need, and doing Toronto a favor. It doesn’t make sense for Detroit to take on his salary while eating up their cap space. They could easily just sign him in the offseason
