The INT completely shifted momentum.

His deflected pass attempt on first 2pt attempt is the whole reason they even had a chance for Andrews to drop the second attempt.

When a guy makes $260 million and is the captain of your team, he has to be flawless for 60 minutes, not just 30 minutes.

I think it's really hard to win that game when you don't have even a decent receiving core. And arguably your best weapon makes the 2 critical mistakes to lose the game.

The loss is firmly on Andrews and only on Andrews

lol

Lamar 2 picks and fumble were both costly he’s more to blame then make Andrews also harbaugh is to blame for not talking the points instead of trying to tie the game in the 3rd quarter in the end take that field goal then you can kick to tie or go for the win in the road I’m sure tho would’ve played out differently in that 2pt conversion

But was practically flawless in the second half.

His team fell short. But his performance down the stretch was very clutch.

Your hatred for the Ravens is clouding your judgement on this one.
I don't hate the Ravens, they're irrelevant lol

But some guy who always chokes, choked again. Just bc he didn't do it at the buzzer doesn't mean his 2 turnovers and botched first 2pt conversion give him a pass.

Ravens aren't a passing team, so that's a weak argument.

You have Hill getting 8.3 YPC and Henry getting 5.2 YPC.

Run the damn ball, aw wait, you can't because some jerk turned the ball over twice early in the game and put you in an 11 point hole at half. This game should not have been close.

For context Zay Flowers had 1 catch for 10 yards when they demolished the Bills back in September.

Well, they're certainly more relevant than the Bengals.

No bias fwiw. Although, the Ravens have been one of the more successful franchises since moving to Baltimore.

If you have 2 turnovers in the one playoff game you are proud of, it's a problem.

I don't think Andrews drop is that bad either. He should have caught it but back heel catch on snow isn't as easy as people make it.

The injury to Flowers was rough. Baltimore recognized this dilemma (imo) by running the football their next game against Pittsburgh, a team with a statistically better regular season-run defense than Buffalo. What kept them from running it against the Bills? Were they not successful in establishing the run game early as they did vs. the Steelers?

There’s a difference between saying Lamar choked and Lamar should have played better. He didn’t choke, he put them in position to tie the game. But you can’t just hand wave away the fact that he had two turnovers that were honestly pretty atrocious and took potential points off the board. Maybe the game doesn’t need to come down to a 2 point conversion if he protected the ball better? Especially since his fumble led directly to a Bills TD.

Pinning everything on Andrews for his turnover and drop just because they happened later in the game and completely absolving what Lamar did earlier in the game that put them in that position in the first place is just being an apologist.

I’d say Lamar played well. But he made crucial mistakes. Did not play up to his MVP standards. The loss is not squarely on him though, and it’s not squarely on Andrews either. They lost as a team. But as an individual, yeah I still think Lamar left something to be desired.

So did Josh Allen btw, I thought he was pretty mediocre to be honest. But they won, so that excuses everything I guess.

Idk, I saw two really good QBs make some bad plays and some good plays and ultimately both of them kind of underachieved. I can still easily see Mahomes and the Chiefs outplay Allen for the 4th time and then hear how Allen played him close in that one game 5 years ago all over again.

Almost as much sense as a certain someone who supposedly had a strong case to be the MVP & yet somehow his team didn't even qualify for the playoffs.

No, I'm just teasing you.

Lamar sucks because he lost a game in the playoffs. Even though he led his team to the playoffs.

But the other guy gets a free pass.

Pointing out Lamar's subpar record both statistically and team success wise doesn't mean he sucks. He just generally doesn't elevate his game in playoffs.

We should be able evaluate players better than best/sucks absolutes.

If Lamar had won, would that confirm Josh is the choker?

No argument here.

I thought he played well. Not great. Yeah, the turnovers we're costly. But he did show up when it mattered most.

Here's hoping the Bills beat the Chiefs, because I think the Eagles would beat the Bills. But Chiefs + refs are too hard to overcome, but since Josh Allen gets a lot of the same calls that Mahomes does, it might even out.

Let's be optimistic, no team would ever lose four of the biggest games in a row.
