Spurs got everything they wanted out of Paul. But they are slipping beyond the playin and unlike the teams they are competing with they don't need to be spending assets chasing it. So instead do right by Paul giving him a shot at a ring and pick up a couple of interesting kids.
Thunder get a guy to play when SGA sits(and some together if they want) to run the offense, provide some leadership, and Bassey is another depth big while their 2 guys are hurt.
