Tatums shot selection is honestly insufferable.

He should be playing like a mini Giannis or LeBron and his go to scoring move should be a attacking the hoop, which he is extremely efficient in.

Yet he chooses to be a jump shooter, which, he's got to objectively be the worst volume jump shooter in the NBA. 40% from mid range, 35% from 3.

Is there a worse volume jump shooter than this goofball?

I don't get it. Nearly every game, Tatum's matchup is a mismatch..he's always bigger and stronger than his defender. He's effecient at the hoop... But chooses to be a jump shooter despite being terrible at it.

It's why I was never a believer in the Tatum/Brown duo. They both have horrific shot selection.

Well you have to believe in them, because they've won a ring lol

And Tatum is an all around stud. His scoring just has so much standard deviation.

The Warriors suck. If they didn't get off to the hot start to start the season, they're a bottom lottery team.

I appreciate KP. A lot of these Celtic players are spoiled. KP just comes from a different world. Injuries, crap teams... Etc.

Finally tastes a ring, has off season surgery, and comes back to the team half assing it. He just wants to ball and win.

Say what you will but he's a hell of a competitor

They can't depend on Curry anymore. All time great. One of the best offensive players ever, but fsther time always wins. He's no longer a top 10 player

Yeah obviously I was wrong, but their shot selection is still a concern going forward imo. Tatum especially could definitely be more efficient if he played to his physical strengths more instead of settling for tough stepbacks.

Call it how it is Reggie. Celtics are the team to beat. Don't let short attention spans trick you into thinking the unproven OKC and Cleveland are the favorites.

Yup. Way more efficient. He's got some ridiculous peaks though. There's no one like him. Hes generally a top 5 or so player in the NBA who can look like only a top 20 guy, or the 2nd best player behind Jokic. His optimized self is probably the second best player in the NBA.

But, he's good enough to be the best player on a championship team, and he's had a lot of big big big single games in bigger moments than virtually anyone else in the league outside of Jokic, LeBron and Curry.

He's just too damn confusing .

You think?

Beating up on the Warriors is exactly what the Celtics wanna do to build some momentum and go on a winstreak. Tatum could quiet a lot of doubters if he ravages his old kryptonite.

I think the team knows this and is thinking the same thing. They're going to be hungry after recent missteps against the Hawks.

He’s had enough help, opportunity and capitalized well.

It’s the twilight of his career. It’s time to pick between being nostalgic with him or rebooting and shipping him off to a contender.
