I've pretty much focused on OL... so
Aireontae Ersery and Jonah Savaiinaea are my first two investigations.
Not likely a great QB situation in the draft unless there is a 2nd round score.

I need to do a bigger deep dive on offensive lineman.

Saw one of the major mocks sending Dart to us. I don't think he'll last until the 3rd, but nor do I trust using the 1st on him, but certainly after doing some article reading, he could be a baller. Any eyes on that guy?

He played well in the bowl game. But is mostly mocked as a Day three guy.

Actually, we do!

They have the 50th overall pick (2nd round). Picks 18, 50, 82...

Sporting news has us picking Jalen Milroe, so had to do some research. Seems like this years Richards at QB.

I watched a ton of Alabama this year due to DeBoer. Milroe isn't very good. He's limited as a passer. Very inconsistent.

I would pass myself.

Here's a first round guard I would take:
6'5" 350lb beast who was a captain and intellectual

A few interesting Edge guys that can also play 5 tech as we look to cut Dremont for the cap savings:

Landon Jackson 6'7" 290 lb legit edge
might rise into the 1st where i would not think we look for that position, but could also be there in the 3rd

Shemar Stewart 6'6" 290lbs Edge
more raw and more athletic should be around later in a stacked edge class

Dart looks pretty exposed in the Sr bowl prep. Can't seem to take a snap under center well and some timing issues.
Like you said- Milroe also looks like an athlete who can't find a target with tiny hands

Shemar stewart on the other hand looks to have solidified a 1st round pick at edge

Kubiak wants a fullback who can also carry the ball or catch the ball usually and we don't have one.

My two thoughts would be:

Phil Mafah- 6'1" 235lbs
could rise above where we'd want him and he's more of a HB, but he's sturdy and can also be a home run hitter.

Cory Kliner:
5'8" 215 and known for his willingness to block anyone in protection, while also have elusiveness and stout yards after contact. Hands I didn't see much about. Not north south fast, which is fine for FB

What does an outside zone (Kubiak) lineman look like?

This guy was taking snaps at Center in Mobile. He could realistically play all 5 positions on the line (maybe?).

I could see this being an interesting pick for us, though I have a million other reasons to be looking for other positions, but cutting Noah Fant seems prudent and Kubiak will but stalking this TE class:

the one at 6:17 is pretty ridiculous

This guy should be available late in the draft and he's got some oomph at nose tackle at 6'6" 337lbs and 35" arms.

I also like his presence and approach:
