Was at the game. Nets stadium was like 80% Knicks fans. Crazy but expected.

KAT and OG were our mvp’s tonight. KAT sets some terrible screens for Brunson but Brunson has tunnel vision way too often. He misses KAT on so many pops or rolls. He’s gotta watch video and unlock that. KAT is too humble to call him out on it though.

Bridges wasn’t great today. Maybe it was the nerves. Thibs didn’t coach a great game though he had a good final 2-3 minutes. He did offense defense with Deuce and Precious for KAT and Brunson and it worked to perfection. KAT and Brunson also spammed the two man game late on one side and scored almost every time. Those are the kinds of calls a good coach makes so credit for that.

I really hope Cap and KAT can get to build greater chemistry on their two-man game. We saw some glimpses on it in the clutch.

I think when JB looks to make a play on offense, he does not look towards the back and thus he misses KAT when he gets open at the top of the key. Cap often spots the cutters more.

Brunson is only a part-time PG. The majority of the time he is a gunslinger.

He should be criminally indicted for his failure to feed KAT

Thibs sucks, but Brunson shouldn't need a coach to motivate him to be a better playmaker when he has a golden ticket like KAT next to him

I'm not one to criticize the BRUN. But I should think if it comes down to the wire he'll adjust if needed. Man, these guys got all the money in the world; can't be about that; got to be about how they all view the team and their respective roles. And none of the VU guys or OG seem selfish. Perhaps there's JB's dad influence. Don't know. But JB will do the right thing in the end.

Badder news is the Kings playing like C-Webb Peja Divac Kings since Christie picked up. :-?

That was the strike shortened season. Spree became a Knick just before the abridged pre-season started. I went to an early pre-season game, and I was pretty much determined to not like the guy when we got him. I don't like coach chokers pretty much by default, no matter how big a jerk the coach might be.

But Spree won me over. He was electric, even though it was pre-season, he won over the crowd, and everyone was cheering for him as the game went on.

One of my favorite games was when Spree almost beat the spurs all by himself in the finals. I think it was game 4 at the garden. He missed the final shot that would have won the game I think. Too bad Ewing wasn't 5 years younger...

The Grizz game is going to be the most interesting simply because of how unique their offense is.

I made the switch to FuboTV so I couldn't watch the game since they don't have TNT. Well not exactly, I still have access to MAX through Optimum for another day but I tried to start the game later like I usually do when I DVR the games (it was already over) but MAX doesn't let you replay the game? I don't know why, I never watched a game on there before. I know Amazon Prime lets you start from the beginning after the game is over, or at least have the ability to resume where you left off, when I watch Yankee games. I'm concerned when the playoffs start and this happens again when they play on TNT. I can't watch games live bc of my kids being awake and Peppa Pig or Danny Go etc is on the TV haha. Any input or tips would be helpful as I'm used to cable.

2nd game of a back to back and won. I'll take any win we can get. I'm still concerned about this team tho. We need Mitch back or some kind of presence inside so KAT can move to the 4. I'm sure some have brought this up but why doesn't Hukporti get any minutes at all? The few times he played I thought he was effective and it wasn't garbage time. Preseason too he looked like a solid big to have out there.
Make the Knicks great again!

I think anyone that has had a sprained thumb knows that while you can technically return to play after a week or so, it does take a couple more weeks for the thumb to be really stable again.

This really. I have a feeling that many are still butthurt over being wrong about the KAT trade and his actual impact, outperforming Randle and all that, so now they can’t enjoy a win anymore and will be first in line on the doomsday front every time we go through a very rough 50-50ish kind of stretch. It impacts the realgm experience.

It should’ve been clear to everyone that this roster has some holes and wouldn’t perform like a well-oiled machine. We have no starting center or wing on the bench. I don’t know what everyone is expecting. This team has still been very good.

Let alone the pain and re-aggravation of being slapped on the hand around 400-500 times throughout a game as a low post scorer.

In this league I take any type of back to back win no matter what. So props for the team pulling out 2 close wins.

I do however agree that the lack of bench play is concerning and the ongoing theme. It sometimes even seems as if it doesn't really matter if said bench player plays well or not. On a day where Precious and KAT were pretty solid offensively, why not play Precious 25-30 minutes next to KAT... with OG at the 3 and Hart at the 2. Mikal didn't have it tonight.

I hope Mitch returns and the FO still considers a move for a bench player......or we get lucky in the buyout market with a guy like Brown or so. It feels like we need to pick up some bench force, regardless of Mitch returning. It does not really feel like we are going to get through the season healthy with Thibs approach but he can't help it.

Upcoming home stand will be interesting.

He has had some successful possessions that people will recall but he misses so much in terms of rotations, positioning and if you’re honest to yourself, he looks like a deer in the headlights. If you watch him off-ball (both ends) he’s often late and moving very inefficiently.
