I’m starting to wonder if Yabu is so good that we’d want to give him a longterm contract at the end of the season. Like, he’s figured out his role on this team and is basically playing like a lower usage Kuminga. I’d understand it if it’s for the tank, but I’ll be sad if we trade him since he’s so likable and plays with a ton of effort.

If we shed cap space by this year's trade deadline, could we potentially sign Yabu for more than the Mid-Level Exception (MLE) to prevent other teams from outbidding us? Or is there a stipulation preventing us from offering him a larger contract just because he's currently on a minimum deal.

Additional incentive to consider trading PG and a couple of draft picks for an expiring contract, Ask yourselves who do you rather have on your team all salaries being equal, Paul George or Yabusele?

But the most notable sound — at least in regard to the Sixers — came from the postgame visitors’ locker room. That space shares a wall with the Nuggets’ news conference room, where multiple sources there told The Inquirer that they could hear shouting from the Sixers’ contingent on the opposite side.

Sixers players did not shy away when asked about the intense environment.
