He looks the same to me. He has tired legs out there, that's for sure. One of the things I was afraid of when they decided to go with him as their pseudo-PF. But hey, here's hoping he elevates his game.

Shamet was at the right place at the right time. His minutes need to go to Dadiet.

I honestly don't care who they go to at this point just let someone soak up some extra minutes so I don't see tired legs on the 4th qtr all the time.

Go with Dadiet. At least Dadiet has something to prove. Shamet looks like a JV player 90% of the time.

I'm not even tryna be minutes police. The bench unit gave a nice boost in the first half and barely got a look in the second half. They earned minutes and weren't rewarded.

I like Precious, but he's had some issues battling much bigger guys in the paint defensively. I really think Mitch could unlock another level for this team, and it's needed if they want to beat the contenders instead of being the next-best team after them.

Ryan Dunn plays 20 mpg for the Suns. Would have been nice except the FO had to get cute. Instead they drafted a player who will be DNP-CD for three seasons.

I really hope Cap and KAT can get to build greater chemistry on their two-man game. We saw some glimpses on it in the clutch.

I think when JB looks to make a play on offense, he does not look towards the back and thus he misses KAT when he gets open at the top of the key. Cap often spots the cutters more.

yea Kat has been left wide open at the top all year.

If Mitch comes back do you trade Precious at the deadline? I know you need Mitch insurance but is the need for a quality wing more needed to spell OG minutes?

I don't think you can play Mitch and Precious together...the spacing will be mucked up.

If Shamet isn't earning 2nd half minutes and Thibs isn't going to throw Dadiet out there to see what we have we desperately need another bigger wing that Thibs trusts to get some minutes.

I don't either...I'm just saying we need someone to give 10-12 mins...I don't really care who it is at this point. A body that won't kill us when he's out there...someone above 6'5 ideally.

I think it's obvious why some of us are upset even after this win. We are 45 games in. Last season we were 28-17. This season we are 29-16. A measley 1 game improvement. This off-season we saw the FO pretty much give away every asset we had meaning what you see in front of you is what you have. Sure we can make some minor additions and subtractions but this is the core for the next 3 years. This is the core the FO believes will bring us a championship after 50 years.

The reality is that we are only a 1 game improved team. Reality is that Thibs is still doing the same shiz and running his starters into the ground. Reality is we will probably be banged up and injured just as much as last post season and won't be able to make a finals run. Reality is that Thibs gets out coached almost every night. Reality is that our starting
1 and 5 can't guard anything. Reality is even if our bench got decent minutes, I'm not confident they can produce to the level our bench did last season. Reality is that many think we took a huge step forward this season with this roster but nothing so far this season has actually showed that. Reality is that we are a treadmill team going no where.

That's my preferred move. Which sucks, because it's not like Josh is a weak link out there. I thought one way or another Josh would get his minimum 30 MPG, anyway. Josh makes the bench better. We can only hope that OG adds something to his game. Not something you'd see during the season, though. Next season we may see a more engaged rebounder.

Ryan would get DNP's, too. But at least he'd have a G-League ring.

Thibs did a disservice to the bench not trying to develop that 6'8 wing they have there on the bench ......

The only thing that overcomes Thibs is our players themselves. They've tuned him out already, but they still need to play more cohesively even if it is by their own design and not through Thibs guidance.

But it won't matter. Even talent won't overcome empty gas tanks or missing key players in the playoffs.

We are talented enough to look terrible and beat bad teams. That doesn't mean chit to me personally and it won't bring home the bacon in the upcoming schedule.

I think you roll the dice and move Precious and/or Sims for a wing if Mitch is back. Precious works next to KAT because of the spacing, but I agree that he's a bad fit next to Mitch or Sims. So getting a big wing that can eat some PF minutes next to Mitch would be nice, and if Mitch goes back down, Precious is too undersized for most bigs anyway.

Honestly...if they're so concerned about Mitch that they can't move Precious for a wing, then they should try to package Precious with matching salary for Valanciunas. Get a true C off the bench, and sign TJ Warren to be the additional wing once his pro-rated salary fits the cap space.
