I'm really looking forward to that game. That team has been playing real well lately (9-1 last 10).

I thought because we were an apron team we can't sign buyout players? Maybe I'm wrong.
We cant sign anyone that makes more than $12.8 million per season prior to their buyout. Jonas makes $9.9 million, the real question is would he pursue a buyout while having another guaranteed year. Their asking price for him in a trade is beyond stupid.
hmm I mean Leon and co. seemed buddy buddy with him last time we were in Wash. Maybe they work something out.
His defense would be a concern but at least he's a big and typically reliable for health reasons.

Jonas only makes sense if they actually plan on starting Mitch and KAT together and then staggering their minutes, with Jonas as an insurance policy and guy that soaks up a few minutes.
That way you can trade Precious for some kind of veteran wing and have Hart off the bench with that wing. But, if they trade actual assets for Jonas it's idiotic.

I have a feeling that many are still butthurt over being wrong about the KAT trade and his actual impact, outperforming Randle and all that, so now they can’t enjoy a win anymore and will be first in line on the doomsday front every time we go through a very rough 50-50ish kind of stretch. It impacts the realgm experience.
It should’ve been clear to everyone that this roster has some holes and wouldn’t perform like a well-oiled machine. We have no starting center or wing on the bench. I don’t know what everyone is expecting. This team has still been very good.
I wont get into the Randle stuff but I will say that I agree. At the very least- it's pretty evident with Thibs coaching style we need Mitch back...and we will never hit that machine level until he comes back...
He can't adjust things until then? He can't give Hukporti a shot for more than 5 minutes a month? What is the team supposed to do when Mitch sits? What if he gets hurt again? There's no other option without Mitch?
This idea that Mitch will save us is a problem. They knew for MONTHS Mitch was not going to play. Thibs did nothing to work around that. Hukporti can't play 15 minutes? His boy Sims was playing a ton before Precious came back. Then it was off to Siberia. Then he STARTED HIM! Then he went back to Siberia to keep Hukporti warm. Precious barely gets 20mpg when he is needed. OG/Mikal can't get off the court.
If Mitch is the only player in the universe that can fix things, then we have a serious problem. It's not the roster. It's the HC.

Agreed on both counts, but I'm not sure starting KAT and Mitch together makes sense to begin with.

Brunson/Payne
Bridges/Mcbride
Anunoby/Dadiet/Hart
KAT/Hart
Mitch/KAT
9 man rotation. Nobody playing over 36 mins. Fresh legs for the starters in the 4th

Start Mitch and KAT? Wouldn't the cost of Jonas BE Mitch?
Precious is, what, 7 million per? Where's the other 5 million come from? Deuce? No thanks.

If Jonas got a buyout we'd be able to sign him, he has another guaranteed year, but CAA mob ties could make up the difference after next year.
I wouldn't want to trade assets for him - Precious, Sims and Payne works, but if you're going to trade those guys it should be for a wing and not another C. It doesn't really matter what Payne does, he's not playing much.

Well not exactly, I still have access to MAX through Optimum for another day but I tried to start the game later like I usually do when I DVR the games (it was already over) but MAX doesn't let you replay the game? I don't know why, I never watched a game on there before. I know Amazon Prime lets you start from the beginning after the game is over, or at least have the ability to resume where you left off, when I watch Yankee games. I'm concerned when the playoffs start and this happens again when they play on TNT. I can't watch games live bc of my kids being awake and Peppa Pig or Danny Go etc is on the TV haha. Any input or tips would be helpful as I'm used to cable.
2nd game of a back to back and won. I'll take any win we can get. I'm still concerned about this team tho. We need Mitch back or some kind of presence inside so KAT can move to the 4. I'm sure some have brought this up but why doesn't Hukporti get any minutes at all? The few times he played I thought he was effective and it wasn't garbage time. Preseason too he looked like a solid big to have out there.
Sling tv allows you to have DVR but im not sure if they have MSG
