There are a fair amount of PGs that should go ahead of him (Harper, Jakucionis, Fears, Traore, Philon and then a couple guys who are taller but basically might be PGs). Maybe the Nets take him with one of their 3 late firsts, though, they seem to be in no hurry.
What makes Philon better than Fland?

Arkansas has to get back to playing big; put Zvonimir back into the starting lineup.
I really don't want to draft any guards (assuming Davion is gone) unless Jakobe, Dick or IQ are traded for a forward.
Ya, BK has 3 picks in the 20's and in need of a PG, you'd think they'd take 1 there.
I don't really know who's better. Seen Fland once and Philon twice. Philon plays bigger, Fland can shoot the 3 but is shooting a putrid 41% from inside the arc and an even worse 38% at the rim.
Philon is at 58% inside the arc and struggling from 3 (27%, decent volume). I liked Philon more from what I saw, but you're betting on him developing into an average shooter. Went 3/5 from 3 the other night, but his release was slow when I saw it, and he was unguarded. But with Fland, I think the upside is much lower because I don't really see why he'd be able to score inside, but they're probably fairly similar right now in terms of level.
Has a guy ever shot as low as 38% at the rim in college and been a good pro? Nobody seems to have done it - I only found conference play stats, though - in the last 7 years, Some good college PGs on the list, but the guy who got the most NBA time was Kyle Guy, at 400 minutes.
Now I'm wondering if Torvik has the right number? It makes sense at his size, but it's still really low for a guy who is overall having a solid season.
Fland (not a good finisher at rim, good 3 point shooter, and mainly mid-range shooter)
