His prime was so great it lasted long enough to bring the Lakers a title, but management hardly did much considering Lebron choose them and so did AD. After the Lakers won in 2020 and gutted the roster, that alone should have told people that the franchise is just saving money.

We probably won't see management spend money towards winning until a few years after Lebron retires. The Lakers draft well but they don't build their championships through the draft unless you're a surefire star.

I really think they are preparing to sell the team.

The Westbrook trade that James pushed for sending Kuzma, KCP, Harrell, and a first round pick didnt really help either did it? Cant just blame management.

KCP was long gone when they went after Westbrook, but that still has nothing to do with management not spending. Lebron may suggest management to make a move (as every single star player/team leader has done since forever in sports), but obviously if he had his way the Lakers wouldn't still be struggling to get help five years after he signed to the team...

They drafted his son and signed his pod cast buddy to be the head coach. They bend over backwards to please the guy. Jokic doesnt have a top 10 player with him in Denver. Neither does Curry or Giannis. OKC drafted their talent minus Hardenstein and trading Giddey for Caruso. Durant has Booker and an aging Beal in Phoenix. No depth. Luka has Irving and great depth but he has been battling injuries this year. Embiid has Maxey and an aging George who is injury prone. But Embiid cant stay healthy. Other than Tatum, what other star player is loaded with talent on their roster? James has a top 10 player as a teammate and Reaves is solid. So is Rui and DFS. I dont see what he has to complain about.

The worst Net Rating among duos who have played at least 830 minutes together this season:

1. Coulibaly + Sarr: -17.6
2. Coulibaly + Poole: -13.9
3. Simons + Camara: -11.8
4. Coby + Vucevic: -3.7
5. LeBron + Davis: -3.2
6. LeBron + Reaves: -3.0

Concerning.
