He's also playing PG on a team that shooting 39 3s a game which isn't really part of his game.

That's simply not true. If he is incapable of shooting the three ball he should be surrounded with even more shooters.

What you're talking about more shooters is right, what's even more "right" is Spoelstra is moving towards an offense where everyone shoots 3s, why do you think they drafted a 3pt shooting center when you have one of the top centers already on the roster?

The offense is heading in the right direction with how the NBA is right now, 3s and open lane basket attacks is where this offense is heading. Butler should have just been moved before the season, if Bam doesn't start shooting 3s at a good clip, he may be gone in the next few years. They have their big 3pt shooting center now.

At this point, I’m only focused on the team’s standing. He’s likely getting traded eventually, so why waste time and energy? He shouldn’t have played in the Denver and Portland games. This whole situation feels like a power struggle between Butler and the front office.

A good example is PJ Tucker with the Clippers—why didn’t we go that route? Instead, we’re making it harder on the team’s morale by keeping Jimmy around.

You’re missing the point. He’s about to be traded in the next few days or even hours. Who cares about whether he plays or the contract he signed? It’s all irrelevant. The front office needs to focus on the bigger picture and prioritize the team’s standing.
