Cavs / Jazz

Post#1 » by JJ_PR » Thu Jan 23, 2025 1:43 am

Cavs get: Collin Sexton, Walker Kessler and Brice Sensabaugh
Jazz get: Caris LeVert, Georges Niang, Ty Jerome and 2031 unprotected first

Why?
Cavs address some needs. They get a back-up guard, a 3rd big and a wing prospect. We also duck the tax.
Jazz add a few players they can flip for more assets and a high variable first round pick.

Take Kessler and sense bought out and I think about it. I'm not super high on the odds of that pick being lotto.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Absolutely not interested.

Just plain horrible for the Jazz.

... NO, YOU MOVE."

I could see a Sexton only deal, though I am not sure what that looks like here.

This trade has zero chance of happening for a multitude of reasons.
