What are you talking about? The Heat are putting up almost 39 3s a game, that's over 5 more per game since last year and it's going to continue to go up which is why I think there's a 50/50 chance Bam is gone by the start of the 2026-2027 season if he doesn't get his 3ball going.

The new direction is a great move but it doesn't help Bam or Butler's games and not only did they know this, Spoelstra said as much in while training for the preseason. He said he expected Butler and Bam to be able to figure out how they could be effective in the new offense. From time-to-time Bam mentions this too when talking about Butler or his own game.

Seeing the offense in that long road trip, I saw the benefits of the offense, most games the lane was empty with usually 4 or 5 3pt shooters on the court. In the Denver game you get to see Jokic sitting in the middle of the lane making drives much more difficult to happen. It's the way the NBA is moving towards if they don't figure out how to slow down 3pt shots.

Can't quote this from the last thread but just want to address it: Getting up additional 3s does not correlate to the offense not being built for Butler to lead it and get his shots. This is especially so considering Butler was actually praising Tyler this season before it all went to ****.

The fact of the matter is, somebody has to shoot the ball if he doesn't. Same is the case for Bam. And Jimmy's decision to not shoot the ball and check out is his, not the coaching staff's or anyone else's. And the idea that the offense moving away from him is apart of his issue is nonsense, same as it is when you try to blame Bam's sucking on something/somebody else too.

Not sure why you want to treat these guys like grown men when it comes to criticizing them in the media, but want to treat them like babies when it comes to them being responsible for their own damn production on the court.

also the fact that he got this triple double effort against the Pistons when he was trying to get paid and Heat said no, and it went downhill after that.

I am enjoying the drama tbh. It is a change of pace from the mundane regular season of a mediocre team.

Can somebody explain to me why Miami can’t just DNP Butler every single night? Are we required in some way to put him out there? Can he not be benched if he’s hurting the team like maybe Rozier should?

I think Beal or Khris Middleton ends up in Miami along with three 1st Rd picks.

Miami will not take on Beals contract which runs through 2026 with a no trade clause for 3 picks that will be in the late first round.

The thing that we need to start considering is if the Suns might just be stupid

They are building a case to have Jimmy agree to stay away from the team until he is traded.

I thought Jimmy would end his career here, but this thing fell apart spectacularly. I suggested trading him after we lost to Denver. To think of the assets we could have gotten then.

I would accept Beal if Rozier goes also in a multi team deal and he waves his no trade clause

This situation is horrible for the Heat, but I personally would not concede to Jimmys lack of professionalism. This is the bed he wants to make, let him sleep in it. I don’t care if it’s a distraction, a detriment to the team, or destroys the season. “Heat Culture” means you got to lace up and do your job!

What about Lavine/Giddy or Ayo or Jevon Carter plus 1.pick (if it's Giddy no picks), Beal to Chicago plus 2 picks or 3.and Butler to the Suns..

Giddy or Ayo
Herro
LaVine
Bam
Ware

A pass first PG (Giddy) or Jrue Holiday lite (Ayo) with Tyler and Lavine while having Bam in the dunkers spot and Ware on rolls/pop out 3s is way better than having guys like Middleton/Bruce Brown or whatever else proposed. How big a difference is it between Fox and LaVine? Yes Fox is better but he will probably be making more with his extension.

If I were the Suns I would be trading for Lavine and Vuc or blowing it up over trying to get Butler.

Dude, Beal wants to stay in PHX. He won't go to cold Chicago.

If a team is openly hating on you why would he want to stay?,I think the NBA will step in behind the scenes if nothing is done and make promises of a top 10 pick or picks (not the first time they have rigged the lottery) and force both the Heat and Beals hand no way they allow this to go on with a name as big as Jimmy this is not a Jae Crowder/Tucker level player. Both the Beal and Jimmy situations are a terrible look imo.

Beal could literally burn money to warm himself in Chicago to stay cool and still be living like a king.

I Think I'd take Beal if Suns add the 3 picks they just got from the Jazz.

1. We need all the picks we can get in order to trade for the next star. Be it Fox or someone else.

2. Beal isn't a bad player, I'd argue he's better then Rozier in every aspect and Terry is logging heavy minutes here.

3. The 2026 free agency is a mirage, no star player is signing into cap space. it's all trades. we'll have other expiring in 2026 in Duncan and Terry.

Give me 3 picks and a decent player, I rather that then keeping jimmy or getting the Middelton/Portis/Smart/Luke Kennard type of poo poo platters.

I like it.

Lavine became underrated, Ayo can defend and fits here.

Herro
Lavine
Bam
Ware

Just add a 3&D wing that can really defend 1-3 and let's roll.
