Can’t guard everything with the way floor is spaced nowadays. Especially in the regular season, you can’t change your base defense game to game depending on the opponent. Too taxing and confusing for a lot of these players. But team has the ability to adjust when needed, like how they were able to take away Mavs primary offense in the Finals.

Well if they make Highly contested shots then you just give them credit so long as they're highly contested.butvwide open shots are never acceptable

I'm going to bed. This will a reprise of the Atlanta game in which a bunch of scrubs get hot against indifferent defense and the Celtics try to fumble the game away at the end. Maybe they win, maybe they lose but we've seen this act before.
