For the original often repeated Vuc for Rui, Vincent SRP, the Bulls don't want Vincent who is just a twice as expensive Jevon Carter who can't get off the bench and if the Lakers are trying to contend their SRP is in the 50's. but people keep helping the Lakers on a daily basis. And HEY they end up with no backup center behind Smith.

Now this is just about good for the Bulls. I'm the one who would gladly swap Vucevic for Ayton, so sue me. Rui comes in to start and the added bonus for me shifts Patrick Williams to the SF where he's never had a chance. The upside of getting Cole Anthony is the Bulls give up 2 guards for one. Anthony comes off the bench with Ball and Dosunmu behind Giddey and White so less glut.

The picks seal the deal, that PORT pick is almost a mirage at this point so getting a for sure choice is upside.
