At long last, and hopefully rested and acclimated, we commence the first of two Paris Games. It's supposed to be a home game for each team but let's face it, we will be heavily cheered for in both. That creates its own kind of good pressure, one we should rise to the task for - defense, BBIQ, team O, heart, and hustle. Let's put on a great show, and reward ourselves for good play.

We are winning but look the same as usual. Horrible turnovers. Bad shot selection. Wemby is doing ok but looks dumb when he tries to do too much. When Wemby isnt on the floor we can barely function.

Pretty much the reason we are winning is because the Pacers seem to not want to be there or are jet lagged.

Well, at least we are winning I guess.

Euros are probably wondering why an obvious ball off Wemby out of bounds halted the game for 5 minutes for a video review that was obvious without watching a replay.....

Wemby obviously goaltends a shot and he gets on the ref for calling it a goaltend???? Seriously? This isnt supposed to be the WWF.
He has the nerve to say "Aww ref! Just give it to him, its Wemby" I cant belive what im hearing...

I now hear Seans voice but there is someone else in the booth with them. Dont know who..

Hate to be the negative nanny in the room but that game didnt feel anything at all like a good win and Wemby only got numbers because the game was basically rigged for him to do so.

He did make some good plays but also some really bad ones if that makes sense.

Sorry. They would have given him MVP chants if he was 1/30 with 2 points and one block.....

If thats what the NBA wants to do they should just have exhibition games for it.

It's fine. Of course the home crowd will cheer on their home grown returning. But Wemby happened to have put on a great show. That stretch to end the 3RD was incredible.

And it's not as if Pacers were in on giving the game away, not as if it doesn't matter to them in the standings, not as if it was close as we won on a bail out ref call. A 30 point game is a good back to winning basketball. And yes Champagnie is painful with missed layups and D and whatever else. And Castle TOs were oof. And Wemby didn't have the cleanest game. But we were not handed a predetermined result, no. There I object. Need for improvement comes with the rebuild territory. And criticism is fair. But there are no gimmies. We stepped up, wrinkles and all. It was a good showing.
