Kings - Lakers - Blazers (this should be an obvious trade)
Kings badly need defense in that team. Derozan is just not a great fit there. He’d be better on the Lakers, who have openly clamoured for another scoring option.
Portland has a few defensive vets they don’t need, and they’d rather get youth / future assets.
This is the framework of a trade, you can add picks/incentives to it.
Kings out: Demar, Huerter, [2nd?]
Kings in: J Grant, Thybulle
Lakers out: Reaves, Hachimura, Vincent, [pick(s)]
Lakers in: Demar, Huerter
Blazers out: J Grant, Thybulle
Blazers in: Reaves, Hachimura, Vincent, [picks]
Lakers get a significant scoring option in Demar. Guerrero can fill some Reaves minutes too. (They can probably send out like 3 2nds?)
Kings get a better fitting roster with Grant’s defense. This should hopefully free up Keegan Murray to be himself. Thybulle can be deployed for 20MPG as a defensive ace.
Blazers get young-ish players in Reaves + Rui, along with draft comp.
We can haggle over the draft compensation.

So Kings give the Lakers the best player and actually pay draft picks for the right to acquire J Grants ascending contract and Thybulle who may not even play this season. Nah, hell nah.

Yes, for Portland, no picks needed.
Though, Portland would prefer if Lakers do to swap in Knecht and Vandy in for Reaves (Vandy is there purely to match salary), as Portland would prefer the 23 year old Knecht over the 26 year old Reaves.

I don't think Portland needs picks in this trade, so Kings could keep them.
Thybulle should return this season. It was badly sprained ankle.
Feel free to still dislike the trade, I just wanted to add those thoughts.

Replace Reaves with Vando and remoce all picks.
I wouldn't get into the Grant business if I'm the Kings, Lakers should though, their window is very short.

You don’t really need Reaves + Huerter + Knecht together.
Obviously this requires some faith that Vando will return healthy, but his defense can be a key difference maker in the playoffs against other forwards (eg Kawhi/KD/JWill).

Lakers definitely aren't trading Reaves + picks for DeMar and Huerter.
They might not even do Rui for DeMar. DeMar is an awkward fit in LA.

Seems pretty bad for LA. Whatever for Sacramento. Value is good for Portland, though I'd prefer to flip Reaves. But that's irrelevant because don't see LA moving him here.

Re: Kings - Lakers - Blazers (this should be an obvious trade)
Kings have been rolling since the coaching change. I understand on paper DDR doesn't seem ideal with Sabonis/Fox, but its working quite well.
Can't see them pivoting from that to a worse player on a much worse contract and injured, no offense Thybulle certainly isn't incentive enough to make that swap.
Dies right there.

All this and l will add:
Never have been interested in a declining Grant who is overpaid.
Thubulle is essentially unplayable on our team.
Trying to make up trades between the Kings and Lakers is always an automatic non starter. The job risk to a SAC GM who makes a trade with the team this city hates the most is just too much.

Re: Kings - Lakers - Blazers (this should be an obvious trade)
In any world the Lakers are offering Reaves for DDR, IDC about the fit, I'll take that deal immediately and figure the rest out later. I can flip Carter/Huerter for a forward and be in a perfect place as a team.
This is bad for Sac, but it's downright awful for the Lakers.
Grant is a bad contract. Even with removing Reaves this is too good for them.

LAL won’t want to give up Reeves.
Does anyone want DDR?

DeRozan is one of the best players on the Kings who is single-handedly carrying us to victories in games we would be losing and since Christie got promoted he's found the ability to fluidly take turns with the rest of our scorers. He's not on the market like you think he is.

Keep him with our compliments. Zero interest in DDR.

Excellent since the feeling is mutual about the majorly overpaid Jerami Grant.

I don't agree with that. I think some teams should want him. You just need the unwanted salary to match and a belief he's not completely regressed as much as he signed to play with Dame on a competitive team and the rug immediately got pulled out and he's over it. I can't say for sure, but at a price of just taking on the risk, some teams should absolutely take it. I'd be all for Dallas doing so. Pretty sure I proposed something around Maxi/Klay for him and I think I even included a bit of value to Portland as part of it.

That’s a bit of a surprise.
POR would want to route either Klay or Simons elsewhere. Maybe both.

Rui+Wood+JHS+SRPs for DeMar
That would have been the trade had Kings not changed coach and gone on this roll
