The Toronto Raptors handed the New Orleans Pelicans a 110-97 shellacking for yet another home win at Scotiabank Arena, in a game in which they never trailed and led by as many as 21 points. The victory completes a season sweep of the Pelicans, notching the “W” in the 1st game of a home back-to-back.

With Amen Thompson and Collin Sexton out injured for an extended period of time, Rudy Gobert and newly acquired Bol Bol — whom started at small forward — were dominant with efficient scoring on the inside. Also supported by Victor Wembanyama, bringing his usual elite two-way play. Michael Porter Jr. and Lu Dort customarily came off the bench, as the Raptors frontcourt proved too deep and too talented for the Pelicans. Christian Wood provided the icing on the cake, scoring 9 points in 9 minutes in garbage time.

Toronto’s defense continues to put the clamps on the opps, holding their 6th straight opponent (and 8 out of their last 10) below the 100 point mark. They forced New Orleans into shooting 39.5% from the field and forced 17 turnovers.

The overrated LaMelo Ball was jailed and held to only 7 points by Jrue Holiday, who also concussed him. While Bol held Kelly Oubre to a Krispy Kreme donut.

Toronto’s record improves to 34-10, extending their Atlantic Division lead, while maintaining 2nd place in the Eastern Conference. Winners of 6 straight overall, 10 out of their last 11, and a league best undefeated 20-0 at home.
