Christmas day was the last time Jokic was not 1 or 2 rebounds or assists from a triple double. Only two times in January was he 1 assist shy of a triple double.
Look at these stat lines.

27.2 ppg

I've never seen anything like it.
The Nuggets are going to win 50 games again, maybe even more. If the Thunder don't have at least 15 wins more than the Nuggets this race SHOULD be over. SGA has 1 more ppg, sligthly more stocks, but Jokic leads in everything else. Nobody has really cared about defense when it comes to MVP..except now, of course. Because they have to grasp at straws. I get people are tired of Jokic winning every year, but it's really not all that close. And for anyone calling Jokic a "poor" defender..I mean, that hasn't been the case for years, but sure. Gotta bend the facts to try to make your narrative make sense. I see a lot of SGA supporters bringing up that he's the leading scorer in the NBA and that's important, as if Jokic isn't breathing right down his neck. Just stick to the team record, that's the only real argument there is.
