There's zero chance he's taller than 6'3 but his arms do look long.
He had a good game tonight tho need to see way more scoring performances like this from him

Great to see more of the players in that top range show out. I think as long as we stick in that top 7 at worst we can still get Maluach who I think can be an effective big at the next level. But that's a worst-case lotto scenario. More likely we're getting one of Flagg, Harper, Ace, VJ, Kasp, Fears.

Great to see VJ performing well as of late. And with the defensive potential to possibly be a combo guard stopper that would be wild.
Starting to really become a believer.

2. Harper

3. Ace Bailey
4. Jak
5. VJ

6. Tre
7. Maluach

Agreed on where you have Bailey. I think by the end of the year he'll have cemented himself as the clear cut #2 pick. Too much size and skill to ignore.

Tank is dead.
We're gonna draft Hugo Gonzalez and stash him overseas.

Our top 7 is pretty much identical. Although, I'm still very high on Traore and would place him above McNeely.

It's annoying that the good teams with stretch 5s will be able to draft good overall players who are meh shooters like CMB or Philon and get a jolt of athleticism, defence and passing, whereas for us they're bench guys unless their shot improves or they become legit quality starters/top 60 players.
Where's the D?

We may end up picking after the top 5, which would make it between Fears, Maluach, Sorber, Traore, Newell, CMB, Rasheer for me

CMB and Traore both need to develop shooting. Maluach maybe with the highest potential, but also somewhat high risk.

I think I’m out on Tre, just doesn’t do enough beyond shooting. McNeeley and Kon project to be role players, so I’m out on them too. Essengue seems slow and not that talented. Demin had trouble scoring under defensive pressure, not interested.

Or you can keep both for a while, Mal would learn a lot of big man nuances from Jak.

Which is a nice upgrade to the bench center but not the game changer the team needs.

VJ is a very fun prospect if we end up in that 5-7 range

Ceiling is high, probably right there with the top guys in the draft. Freak athlete.

If he was 2 years younger, he'd be mocked much higher. Currently late 1st? Probably will go 16-24 range. Unless we get another 1st, we're not getting him. He fits many team's needs immediately. 3 pt shot looks clean and quick, good size and mobility. What's not to like here?

Reminds me of OG but with a much smoother jumpshot

He's gonna be the guy this year that rises hard right before the draft and gets top 5 buzz

Rough shooting game for Jak against MD tonight. 5-14 from the field, 0-4 from 3 but 11-13 from the line at least. 7 boards/dimes

Very efficient night for Queen. 10-13 from the field and 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals.

Ya, he looks like he has a strength/speed combination and gets quite a few deflections. Like at minimum, he's Thiero but can shoot 3's.

Maybe like how Tijuan Salaun was drafted #6? More likely rise like Bub Carrington to #14. If we start winning and end up outside of the top 6-7 I would be cool taking him around 8-10.

Just flip some players for late 1st picks for the project bigs.

Queen is so good with his skills and vision, but his defense really needs a lot of cover. I believe if he can lose weight, he could be an average defender or even better if his high IQ. His playmaking to me is better than Barnes.

As for Jakucionis, he is more a jump shooter (or rely more on jump shoot), which is why I have Fears above him for potential and rim pressure threat.
