Game 45: Kings (23-21) @ Knicks (29-16)

After a tough game in Denver, the road trip continues in New York against one of the top teams in the East. Fox was questionable with a thumb injury but it looks like he is available so hoping to see some bounce back from him after going through a rough patch.

I’m going to cut Fox some credit and assume the injury is affecting him, not to excuse back to back sub efficient seasons, he needs to be sitting because he’s both hurting his value and the team though I appreciate his gamesmanship

This hasn’t been a good stretch. Back to back in Denver ok, but hopefully the team still is up for Doug long term.

Doug needs to stop with this zone man. it works as a surprise tactic, not as a pattern where teams can scout it.

Anyway, that D stunk in the first quarter and at the other end they were robbed with the whistle. Man it happens all the time on the East Coast.

Monk caught fire, but if he keeps ignoring teammates its not a good look.

Ok. Enough is enough. Fox needs to sit. He's not trying on D. He's scared of that hand getting hit and his shots are putrid. On D, stay attached and stop giving up wide open 3s on the baseline.

Oh and how about getting Keegan some looks.

Knicks shooting 54% from deep. Just another day that ends in "y" for the Kings.

If this turns into iso Deebo time this team is cooked. Just play D. Get in front and play some damn D.

Hopefully someone makes the cup a little smaller during this break.
