It's pointless to worry about the lotto. Last year the Hawks won with the 9th worst odds. I still feel as long as we get a top 10 pick we'll be fine with our scouting and development group. We could also still bump up into picks 2,3 and 4 as well.

This is also where I'm at lol. We'll have to invent a lot of injuries and trade away a lot of guys to lose. There are teams with way worse rosters

We can still trade some of our vets if we get good deals. Resupply the draft cupboard while continuing to win. Look at a guy like Gradey and how far he's come since being drafted. We'll find a gem wherever we pick.

I hate the Gradey Dick pick - he is going to be a 1-dimensional player for a long time before he can be good enough both sides of the ball to start for a contender, if he becomes that. But the alternatives at that pick were even worse. I ultimately blame Masai for messing up our draft position over pointless wins and a play-in game that caused our 2023 draft choices to dwindle to Gradey Dick. And Masai is doing it again this season - for the reason of pumping some SRP-worth veteran player values in a year they called rebuild year 1
