At that point, Masai can confidently say "I owe it to the guys, who worked so hard, to go for it (play-in)"

You mean top 6.....bottom 2 isn't realistic so no point in stressing over it.....best case is 3-4 which is top 7 guaranteed (4 has 2.2% chance at 8 which is insignificant)......Hornets and Nets are the main competition for those spots.

If we screw up the draft this year we are going to be the biggest treadmill team in raptor history.

We were at bottom 2 at that time, only Wizards was behind us. Now we are at bottom 5.![]()
This winning streak has cost us dearly. This team's ceiling is not that great. We need more talent to become a powerhouse and drafting higher is the best way to do it. We only get our current best player Scottie because we drafted high at #4. So why we are getting allergic to draft higher this year when there is an aboslute need for it?

We're walking a precarious path here towards that territory.

vibes gotta be good in the locker room right now. gotta get those trades in ASAP
You know he was dropping F bombs.
Dude was coaching completely different than early in the season lol. He's doing rogue for wins. He's pulling guys who struggle and making good rotation decisions

A High pick would be nice, but the internal growth might be better.
Remember, this is Darko-ball, not Selfish-ball (2022-23)

I hate the Gradey Dick pick - he is going to be a 1-dimensional player for a long time before he can be good enough both sides of the ball to start for a contender, if he becomes that. But the alternatives at that pick were even worse. I ultimately blame Masai for messing up our draft position over pointless wins and a play-in game that caused our 2023 draft choices to dwindle to Gradey Dick. And Masai is doing it again this season - for the reason of pumping some SRP-worth veteran player values in a year they called rebuild year 1

You seem like someone who will literally never be happy.

No deal. No Canadian resources for you unless you want to pay the hefty tariffs.
