Canadians show out, especially for their fellow Canadians?

He's also a beloved former Knick, which has the second largest fanbase in the NBA

RJ is putting up a decent statline, similar to Demar when he first made the ASG at 24 years old

RJ 22/7/6 on 47/34/68
Demar 22/5/4 on 43/30/78

Demar had double the amount of wins though

Demars game was more "All star friendly" too, he was yamming on people, RJ doesnt have that athleticism/game, so it's not something people want to see in the game.

Also yeah, 12 wins doesnt help hahaha

Man he’s not lying. I can’t recall it being below -10 consecutive days like this for so long. Not even February yet.

What if the early 2000s are back? Both in terms of culture and in terms of weather. The rizz would be awesome lol.

he still has so much room to grow, the fact that he could have games like these and still fumble the ball 15 times a game... he will get more comfortable attacking, more fluid

you can tell he's still figuring things out

i will take a step back and say, hawks didn't really have any bigs to stop him, so that did contribute to his big game

people keep saying year 4 he should be this and that already... this is the first time he's being put in these positions. Guys like paolo and cade have been thrust into this position from day 1, I would love to see what scottie would be had he been in the same role earlier

His last 10 games he's shooting 23% from 3.

Safe to say that shot is broken. Whoever is teaching him 3s should be replaced. I've seen way too many of his shots rim out for me to think that form is solid.

Couldn't buy a bucket in the first half but he was getting to the line. Ripped it in the third and had a decent fourth.

He just takes bad shots from 3. You'll see him take the 3 instead of make a simple swing to a better shooter. He's been given the greenlight and so he's just guiltlessly chucking.

10-14 feet he's been as good as anyone, but once he starts to get pushed further out it's really bad.

It's grown to the point where I have no confidence even when he's wide open with time. But the middie is looking quite nice. His 3PAr is actually down quite a bit from last year. It's "only" 30.2% at the moment. The problem is that he's been as useless as he was in 2023 and as a rookie, as if no progress at all had been made.

Barnes has dominated his counterparts in the Raptors last 4 wins when he's on the court. Clearly outplayed Trae Young and Banchero. This is while being the #1 option which is new. That's huge progress for a guy who is not known for his offense. He showed this early in the season too right before his two injuries. He has consistently shown that he's becoming a better scorer in the halfcourt with defenses focusing on him. Let's hope that jumper from the midrange becomes elite.

Yeah. If you drill down, there's always something to look at, but he's done pretty well the past couple of games. We'll see what happens over time. With the Bucks game, he's posting 18.8 ppg, 8.0 rpg, and 7.4 apg on 43.0 / 22.7 / 84.0 on 52.2% TS. His overall efficiency was kinda garbage against Boston despite shooting 50% from the floor.

His last THREE games, however, he's managing 22.0 / 9.7 / 6.0 on 46.8 / 36.4 / 7.0, on 58.7% TS, which is much nicer. That's Orlando and both Atlanta games. A little less surprising given the difference in defense, of course, but still.

What if it's the same person who is teaching Ochai who's managing to shoot 40% from 3?
