PG Clippers: Bucks Run out of Gas

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Jan 26, 2025 6:01 am

Not going to sweat it, we've been playing well, this was a clunker. Happens in the Association.

We'll go 3-1 on the road trip.

That's as bad as I ever remember Khris playing. Complete statue on defense. Trent got burned too but at least he scored a bunch. Rollins was bad.

Highlight: Marques on Van Gundy: "He's got his own Intuit dome".
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Hot take: Tyler Smith is a 3.

Good game other than that 5 minute stretch in the 4th that may have been the worst basketball we’ve played all year.

Tough to play 19 Harden without Bledsoe and Norm gonna Norm against us.

Burn the Khris tape so other teams dont see it.

Lost it early the 4th with horrendous play by Dame/Brook/Khris/Trent against the Clippers bench.

Our work on the boards was beyond bad tonight. We gave up 24 second chance points. They were getting offensive boards as they pleased.

Let’s hope no one was watching Khris tonight. Need to trade him yesterday.

Middleton and Rollins have made good contributions off the bench and both were complete negatives today. Can't overcome that.

Doc having Brook play 40 minutes (over 10 more than the Clippers lone big) is just awful coaching and his stubborn ways played a huge role in the loss. As is him being set in his ways to when Dame and Giannis come in and out.

Yeah, and most were just lazy in boxing out or getting the actual board, even if we were in position.

Harden is rarely that guy anymore, but he was tonight. Picked the wrong night to play them.

That was disappointing. It was there for the taking, but a crap start to the last quarter sunk us.

Everyone on the bench not named Gary stunk.

Having no 4 who can activate a Giannis at C lineup is a gaping hole

Rollins needs to chill on the 1 on 3 stuff. If you're not going to be able to dunk on someone, you better pull that **** back.

I wouldn’t call it a clunker. Clippers played a damn near perfect game. Bucks played well enough to win 90% of games. An encouraging loss.

Rollins had a couple of tough foul calls but I don't know WTF he was trying to do on offense tonight. Khris was a statue. The only time he moved on defense was to let his guy go by. The El matador defense.

They took nearly 20 more shots than us. Even when we were leading it always felt like they just needed to start hitting a few and they'd stretch a lead. Our defense was just really, really bad tonight.

Most of the time it's just about being slow to the ball. If Giannis and Dre aren't out there, who's going to go get it? Tonight the answer was nobody.
