Middleton sat out the Heat game when he had plenty of rest.
Last night he was Jack Horner sitting in a corner. He couldn't move.
Isn't it clear that something is going on medically?

I still don’t get not playing Dre more then 11 minutes when you needed defense and rebounding he had two fouls but everyone was fouling harden. Doc needs to do a better job at rotations when we were getting killed on the boards way to many offensive rebounds to over come

Agreed. Doc’s refusal to play A Jax more was a huge reason we lost the game. Trent was getting absolutely torched by Harden and Doc just sat on his hands and let Harden take over the game. This is the type of game you ride A Jax’s defense and energy until he fouls out.

Agreed on the Ajax front. No reason he shouldn’t have been out on Harden at some point in the second half. That’s literally what his skillset is there for.
Upon further reflection re: Khris, it’s over. We can all talk ad nauseam about his health or ramping him up or whatever the never ending cycle of Khris discussion is calling it these days. The guy has a 4-5 game stretch of being productive and healthy, then a month or so where he looks like this. Rinse and repeat. It’s done. His body can’t do it at any acceptable level on either end of the floor for more than a few games at a time. Doesn’t mean he won’t have some nice moments, but we can’t depend on him whatsoever. We should’ve traded him a long, long time ago but as per the usual, we make our moves about 2-3 years too late.

Watched parts of the Doc presser. He said Ajax played bad and that's why he didn't play more.

That is bull explanation I thought he was aggressive taking it coast to coast on a rebound and his passes were on point he did miss one close shot and picked up two fouls I feel he gets a quick hook more than any player and then never goes back in.

Midds played worse and he got minutes in the 4th.

The Bucks floundered when the Clippers turned up the heat defensively. With it being a back-n-forth game, getting down 10, it was over.
Tough to go without both Bobby and AJ and getting the Midds goose egg to help offset a vintage Harden game.

Re: PG Clippers: Bucks Run out of Gas
i didnt watch the game but Middletons numbers and the forum assessment of whatever his defense consisted of is alarming.
did it look like he was jimmy butler-ing us? was he that bad because he looked halfass or just got up out of wheelchair?
those are the worst single game numbers hes had in his career with us and -16 on/off worst on the team. no way whatever it was didnt sabotage the effort.
need to replay that one
and might need to reassess some of the posts ive been making lately related to him too....yikes

AJax had these two plays back to back where the Clips defense essentially ignored him and then got the hook.
Bad lop attempt to Giannis
Ugly floater

He did not have his usual lather going. Looked like he never warmed up for the game. Very out of character for him.

The Clippers went 28-28 from the few throw line. That's outrageously good. The refs were handing them the game, so they took it and ran.

I didn’t get the sense that Khris wasn’t trying out there. He seemed just as sweaty as ever, but also maybe that means nothing considering how easily he washes the hardwood.

nah bro, they were intense from start to finish and, defensively, we were not able to keep up with them the whole way. they were also having their way with many of our defenders. they were out of position and fouling. we caught them on a very good night for them. we played a B game with an F chunk that decided it.
i dont think the refs gave them much

That was his only miss on 3 shots on that floater and I was glad he was aggressive and shot it was just short hit front of rim. The pass as a little hard but Giannis usually catches everything not really an excuse to play him 11 minutes especially when we are short and getting killed offensive rebounds.

Re: PG Clippers: Bucks Run out of Gas
It was a concerning game from Khris. He looked better in recent matches but couldn't get separation in this one or jump for a board (actually his d was only an issue on 1 play). Don't know if his ankle got inflamed and he tried to play thru it.
Don't think it cost us the game. The bigger reason is we couldn't contain Harden. We've struggled against stout, tricky guards who've foul-baited. Last time Green couldn't check Brunson, so I don't know if that changes things. May need to address it.

He definitely looked off. But if he has an issue that's not going to get right with rest (because he just had plenty), what do we really have here in Middleton? If he's carrying something he's pretty useless as he can't move. I feel like he's going to play maybe half the remaining games because his body just won't allow him two many games in a row without recovery.
