The NFL has the worst parity in American sports

Post#1 » by BigDan245 » Mon Jan 27, 2025 2:57 am

I'm pretty sure college football who has no parity has more than it now.

I never want to hear how the NFL is head and shoulders above all leagues because every team has a chance. Give me another talking point because that one is bunk.

The NBA has more teams that can win a championship every year than the NFL.

I disagree big time....This is not like the chiefs win by blowout everytime....I mean they are just clutch like crazy in the last few years. They won their last 17 games by one score

And the chiefs are a small market team....Outside of the spurs in the Duncan era,no small market team have been dominant in the NBA for a long period of time with mutiples titles and thing like that

-KC-PHI and KC-SF are 4 out of the last 6 super bowls
-NE and KC have won the AFC 8 out of 9 years

If you had NBA runs like that there's zero chance you would say this

Yeah and now there have been 6 different champions. And you brought up small market and then throw the Cavs being in 4 straight finals like the Cavs are a big market.

"Clutch" is one way to put that little extra boost that puts them over the top in very close games.

It's almost unbelievable isn't it? Just a few really awful spots here and there seem to happen a lot.

Cmon man. Chiefs are the champs. Just like in boxing you can't play them to a draw and expect the refs to favor you. To beat the best you have to actually beat them by enough so a call here or there doesn't decide the game. Bills had plenty of chances to put the game away, but Dalton Kincaid missing the catch is a bigger reason they lost than the refs.

I think it's fair to expect the refs to not favor either team, but I don't watch much football so I could be wrong.

NFL is rigged and it's been like this for a while. The Chiefs are just the new Patriots. I no longer take sports seriously. It's just entertainment and the Chiefs make for good entertainment. Everyone loves a dynasty and everyone hates a dynasty.

Add it up this is what the NFL wants. People will tune in because either you hate them or love them.

*If you don't learn anything please learn this sports is just entertainment. The narrative matters!

The last 6 seasons 6 different nba teams have won the championship, so as far as I'm concerned the nba having more parity right now is an objective fact.

I was shocked when the Bills coaching staff didn't challenge the spot on that 4th and 1. It looked to me as though Allen made it. That was the game, basically.

I don’t even watch the NFL anymore. The Chiefs and the refs are unbearable. I’ve never seen a team in any sport get more favorable calls than they do.

The refs took it upon themselves to review the spot, no challenge was needed.

every market in the NFL does have a chance. But you will always have dynasty's because the QB is the most influential position in sports by far.
