Are the Orlando Magic a dirty team?
Young teams have little experience. Defensive teams are usually teams that are really physical. There are also teams that try too hard than needed.
Are the Orlando Magic one of those teams?

Re: Are the Orlando Magic a dirty team?
I don't know that I've seen enough to call them dirty... They play physical, and there's some definite bad blood between them and the Pistons, but I for one love it.

poor Magic, first time since forever someone posts about their team and it's about them playing dirty, lol.
When the individual feels, the community reels.

I'm all for physical play and hate touch fouls as much as anyone. But diving at players legs and undercutting jumpshooters are just downright dirty and reckless.

Idk if the whole team is but Mo Wagner 100% is. Broke Allen's ribs with a cheap shot elbow in the 1st round last season, he missed every game after that.

They are defense focused so softies will complain.

Nah. Hard-nosed, a couple of guys are a little reckless, but that’s the identity Mosley has instilled in them. I like it.
Cole Anthony doesn’t seem entirely in control of himself, I think maybe he’s been told he better start busting his ass if he wants any minutes.
Suggs is a bulldog. I love that guy, even if he’s playing the wrong sport sometimes.
And Mo is a bit of a loud-mouthed goon, going back to his college days. His little bro got more of the talent, but Mo tries to make up for it with attitude.

So you went back over 2 years to get a third "incident" (the 1st 2 being hustle plays), and we're supposed to see a pattern here? Also, what does "teams that TRY too hard" even mean? It's literally their JOB, and you want them to try less? At least Trae Young will never injure someone from "trying too hard" on defense, I guess...

Re: Are the Orlando Magic a dirty team?
Joe Dumars and Isiah Thomas are crying right now reading this. From bad boys to soy boys Pistons. Orlando and Detroit have had heated and hard-fought games going back to Tmac. If anything this is just good old-fashioned hard-nosed basketball from both teams.
Every single one of those plays has zero mal intent and injuries happened by accident. Believe it or not, that's just the way this team plays, especially Jalen Suggs. We suck on offense but our defensive tenacity is our identity. Its just competition.

Re: Are the Orlando Magic a dirty team?
They are a reckless team, and it shows. Obviously condoned by their coach.
They have injured Ivey recklessly, and tried to do the same to Cade.
This is why the team has Isaiah Stewart.
See you next year, and don't skip leg day.

Re: Are the Orlando Magic a dirty team?
If you call someone dirty... it must be with intent like Bowen, Draymond , PatBev, Bill just to name a few.
Diving on the floor to get the ball without any intent to hit that leg is not.
Heck if my NBA career that gives me millios nof dollars in salary require me to get floorburn, id lube myself up and practice my Raygun moves.

Re: Are the Orlando Magic a dirty team?
Teams aren't physical anymore and don't care about defense
No not like that!
Also you have a third example which has a Pistons player punching Mo in the back of the head and calling the magic dirty?
Mo was in the wrong, but Jesus Christ pick an example which doesn't make the Pistons seem dirty.
The Jaden Ivey one as well the Magic player has almost left his feet before he even has a chance to see Ivey. Not on him.

Dumb thread. Just because Pistons fans have decided to turn their whining up to 11 doesn't mean you have to broadcast it.

For real. That was an unfortunate outcome of the play, but there’s no way that was dirty. Dude just dove for a loose ball which happens regularly.

I mean, to be fair, the OP doesn't look to be a Piston fan...

The whole team, no.
Wagner in particular, yes.
