Is this a good trade the board would accept if we’re part of the Butler trade..

Bucks out - 2031 1st top 5 protected, Pat and Marjon

Bucks in - Jacquez Jr. and 2027 1st Phoenix just acquired from Utah

Get a young wing, a late 1st and duck the 2nd apron at the sake of our last valuable trade asset.

I’m on the fence but could be talked into this.
Huh. Yeah, why not. Much better move than Butler or, uh, Beal.

Ok. I'm remembering him last season. But haven't watched or followed him this season.

Maybe not. Still better than a team killer and a"a guy". A very highly paid one.

Latest twitter misinformation has Cam J coming our way, Midds to Pistons and unknown pieces back to pistons. To be taken with a grain of salt.

Jaquez seems like your classic JAG, I’m skeptical of Miami role players. They seem aright until they get paid and are on another team, remember Gabe Vincent? **** no I’m not giving up any picks.

Beal is replacement level player now, who would he play ahead of here?

I don't get why you say things like this. Bradley Beal is averaging 17ppg and hitting 40% from 3... his TS% is .582... at worst he's a very rich man's Malik B. If you go with KM at the deadline I won't be mad.

I say it because it's what he's been this year. He's actually been worse than Beasley this year. $50 million and he's been less productive than AJ Green.

-Jragon- wrote:PSA for everyone that still criticizes Dame.. it was cute but you have been officially proven wrong now. His points, assists and TS% are almost all the same or even better than in 2017 and 2018 when he was 4th and 6th in MVP voting. He's at 25 ppg, 7+ apg, and .622 TS% which is all great. He's been here less than 2 yrs and made 2 all star teams. He's in the conversation already of being a top 3 all time Bucks point guard. Oscar/Sam/Dame... what other PG made 2 all star games with us? Sam has more years in and got us to the ECF.. Jrue has a ring but doesn't have the numbers. A finals appearance would put Dame top 2, I think.

Has someone questioned if he can score? Of course he can, that's what he is, a scoring guard. The question is can he playing winning basketball. Hopefully he continues his recent hot streak so the Bucks become better with him on the floor than off, and that starts with him trying enough on defense to not have easily the biggest negative impact to that unit.

Also, as his PR man, have you been notified that he made the all star team?

Sounds like Chicago is willing to take on Beal for picks. Now it's just about finding a new home for Lavine.

Why would Beal accept a trade to Chicago? Giving up additional assets for LaVine would be a bad deal, doesn’t move the needle.

I throw you a bone tho as a certified Dame hater and say I also think he’s look more comfortable this season. Now if only that translated to wins…

Where did you hear this? I would imagine we end up with LaVine then.

Yeah I'm not interested in Lavine. The idea that Beal would except a trade to Chicago is because Beal has a relationship with his college coach, which is Bull's coach Billy Donovan.

Plus he gets to be the star player of the team for a few years till his contract runs out. Lavine and Lillard is a pretty awesome backcourt.

If Jimmy is being offered an extra year and $50M from Phoenix than we or anyone else is willing to pay he might really go to the wall demanding his way there (now and potentially again in the summer).

If the Bulls or anyone really would take Beal on then Butler very well might hold out until that possibility is absolutely gone.

That backcourt is a defensive nightmare. You're not going to talk us into it. Is Phoenix sending us a pick too?

If we’re getting an additional asset from the Suns as part of a LaVine deal then I want Ryan Dunn.

Read on Twitter

If Sidery really is plugged in about this stuff, then it's definitely looking like our involvement would be more about acquiring LaVine. Or this could just be another Gambo smoke screen.

Just boils down now how much we believe the reports we’re looking for an expensive 3rd wheel veteran. That could easily be Lavine. I’m not buying the Beal interest at all.

What other teams do we think are potential landing spots for LaVine?

Nuggets reportedly have been looking at him but idk how much swapping MPJ for him really does.

Haynes basically shot down all the Beal stuff days ago and the subsequent rumors since then have proved they were never real (zero mention of us as an actual Beal destination these last few days). Phoenix is working overtime to get other teams involved here. We hold leverage because the Chicago part of this hinges on us wanting LaVine, but if that were the case then I don't see how this trade isn't done already. My only hope is that we're still trying to finagle a Jimmy trade for ourselves without forking over the 2031 1st, or at the very least, trying to get one of those Phoenix firsts if we actually want LaVine instead (ugh).
