Anyway, Knicks will be down 15 end of the first quarter, down 20 by the half

There is no way Thibs can adjust to the Grizzlies coaching wizardry

This is a 50+ win team and one of the 6 best teams in the NBA.

Brunson and KAT are balling and two of the top 20 players in the league.

Our offense is one of the best the NBA has ever seen.

But the loss of iHart and Mitch is felt.

Both Mikal and OG are playing below the value that the Knicks invested on them. They've been solid overall, but the Knicks paid for better than solid contributions.

The lack of depth is straining the team.

Thibs is doing a solid job coaching the team in a basketball sense but the minutes management is unnecessarily risky.

Overall, this team is a winner but it's inconsistent. If they can end the RS healthy and on a winning streak, I think they can beat anyone (besides OKC perhaps). With an injury to a key player or a loss of form entering the postseason, we'll likely see another second round exit.

The outcome of this game won't change any of this, short of a long-term injury.

Excellent spot on assessment.

We are a top 6 team without our defensive anchor , without the bench pieces we will surely add , and with only half a season of player familiarity.

We have a great forecast if you ask me.. / Can you imagine how good we'll be next season and the season after that?

You ever think about what Phil did for the Knicks?
He legitimately did nothing, matter of fact he set the team back years, and traded KP

The only reason Phil is not a worse POBO than Zeke was is he did not trade away all of our picks. Aside from that he was absolute ass

Knicks that don't play and basically will never play (any meaningful minutes) this year:

Kolek
Dadiet
McCullar
Hukporti
Toppin
Ryan
Sims
Mitch

I mean, only 8 players. Not a lot of dead weight on the roster or anything. No need to make any improvements.

Glad Aller did all that draft maneuvering so the Knicks could roster 4 guys who'll nearly never see an NBA floor, not this year and probably not next year.

This is a Thibs issue, not an Aller problem

I was going to say lowkey between him and Mills we reached rock bottom and the way up began with Phil not trading picks.

I would argure the Fizdale Smile during get blown out was the nadir, but the KP trade damn near made me quit my fandom at the time.

That was to get arguably the best starting 5 in the league under the apron

Mitch has been hurt though.

The only player I’d like to see get minutes from that group is Dadiet. Kolek too, but our guard rotation is stacked.

We didn’t get sh** back from the KP trade, I think it gave us cap space for JB, eventually
