Yeah, no way I'm throwing Giannis in.

I'm ok including the 2031 pick on most any deal, only because recently i was told I have advanced cancer and it's incurable.

 That's awful to hear, man. I'm so sorry.

Horst, throw that 31' 1st in a trade. We gotta win some chips for VooDoo!

No salary slot needed to acquire 2 way players. I'm surprised cash strapped teams don't pursue them more.

So so sorry voodoo. My best friend used to post here under the name Chuckleslove. Unfortunately he passed about 8 months before the Bucks won the title from stomach cancer. He fought his ass off til the very end. I’m praying for you, Bud. Never give up.

I can talk myself into Lavine but we have to get another big somehow if we're giving up Khris and Bobby.

At this point I think it’s pretty damn clear that we’re the only team with the pieces Miami wants. Certainly the case for the teams rumored to be interested.

If Horst rides this thing out he’ll be getting picks to take on Jimmy rather than sending them.

The question is, how? We'll be out of assets and salary slots to send out.

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal will not waive his no-trade clause to go to the Chicago Bulls, a source familiar with the three-time All-Star’s thinking told The Athletic.

The Bulls had been mentioned as one team the Suns could use to facilitate a hypothetical trade for Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler.

Because of salary-cap eccentricities, Phoenix's only mode to acquire Butler in a trade (beyond including Kevin Durant or Devin Booker, which is not realistic) would be to trade Beal. But Miami is not looking to take on long-term money, which would mean sending Beal elsewhere. The Heat suspended Butler Monday for the third time this month,

Reminder: the Bucks and Bulls could do a trade together straight up if so inclined.

LaVine + Chris Duarte for Khris + Bobby + Pat (into a TPE) works contractually.

Now Chicago has little use for Middleton and Bobby returning would be hilarious.

But it's not like the Bulls need to take on Beal -- and the extra $57M he's owed vs Middleton -- which is why they might be negotiating accordingly.

I mean this is a team that reportedly is refusing to take on Zeke Nnaji's contract and they really want to lock themselves into Beal? FIB's gonna FIB but still.

Phoenix really backed themselves into a corner with the Beal deal. That no trade is a killer

Odds we get Jimmy just went way up.

Not impossible some mystery time like the Kings pull the trigger. Or the Grizzlies say ***** it and get him even without an extension.

But sure seems to me if the Bucks want Butler we got him. However if we were offering our 2031 first it sure seems like it'd be long since done.

Yeah that's the wild card in all this. If Beal puts his foot down the Suns are **** no matter how big a tantrum Jimmy throws.

Maybe Butler just sits all season unless Miami panics. There doesnt have to be a trade. It would be dumb on Miami part but everyone could just sit.

I bet Beal would waive his to go to Milwaukee. Probably only a few spots he would do it.

I don't think any team is just going to trade for Butler without a lot of assurances that they're not just inheriting the current **** show that's going on. I honestly don't even know if I want him around here even if the price is only the players needed to match salary.

The Bucks really have a lot of leverage here.

Whether it’s Butler, Lavine, or Beal (gross), they hold the cards in terms of how things shake out.

Phoenix has to be scared that Milwaukee could just go out and acquire Butler if they wanted to.

Milwaukee could also pivot and trade directly with Chicago if they wanted to, further screwing the Heat by forcing them to roster Butler into the summer.

I believe the Haynes report that came out about our lack of interest in Beal, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if Horst was doing his due diligence and asking Phoenix how much they’re willing to put into a package in order for Milwaukee to facilitate a Butler trade.

Organizationally, I think that they know this team doesn’t have it as currently constructed. Moves need to be made and by the sound of things, we must be in the middle of a lot of conversations. Everything should be on the table with a Giannis-led team. We simply can’t waste another year of his prime by running back the majority of the roster and hoping things magically change come playoff time.

Yeah, our offer should be Khris, Pat, and whatever player we get in a Bobby trade where we get draft compensation. Then, once under the 2nd apron, we can trade the picks for the smallest salaried good player available. Santi Aldema?

Both Miami and Jimmy decompensating with this latest hissy fit turned suspension trade-value-be-damned makes me think neither side is happy with how negotiations are going.

The "Beal refuses to go to Chicago" news leaking right after sure is some timing too.

And even aside form the price we'd send there's also the question of what contract the Bucks would offer him.

Meanwhile Jimmy's definitely been acting like a guy who thinks he has $50M on the line with an extra year Phoenix would give him that no one else in the league would touch.
