We’re at .500 now. If we’re lucky we win 2 of those 5. Much more likely we win 1 and going 0-5 is very possible.

48 games in, will be 53 after those. We’ll be 25-28 or 26-27 when the roadie concludes.

This season has been a huge letdown.

Injuries has derailed this team.

There’s nothing like real time my boy. Scrimmaging against your teammates all the time is not like playing different teams, players in a serious game.

Even still, this was his 9th game back. 3 1/2 weeks of real games at this point. Any sort of out of shape rust really should be gone.

Should be, but the guy still looks like he's gassed in every game.

So... Paolo deserves all the heat he's getting but Franz couldn't do a damn thing either against Miami's length. We need to be able to counter when teams match our size. We can't seem to do it and it's on Mose and the FO to figure out how to fix it.

His conditioning is fine. It’d be a cogent argument if he was 53 years old. He’s just playing badly, or he’s not healthy.

Gotta say..

KCP in 36 minutes is severely underwhelming in a double OT game if Herro is going to drop 30 points on us

Maybe conditioning is improved but instincts timing etc. Paolo is also still young and has some learning to do. I’m curious to see how he responds. I bet he’s taking this hard.

It's funny man, you play a certain brand of basketball for 3&1/2 quarters but that last few minutes you go completely away from that brand of ball... The ball movement stopped, the cutting stopped.....can't let that happen, leadership dropped the ball

And people say we can't afford LaVine... KCP, Cole, and Harris combined make exactly what LaVine makes... just sayin'

Paolo needs to do better. Hope he learns from this game and improve as the season goes on. We need him in the later part of the regular season plus playoff.

When is Paolo going to get fully conditioned? This was his 9th game since injury, almost 20 days have gone since he started and scored 34pts against bucks.
Today he just sucked, that's it. and i dont know what conditioning does he need to shoot better than 60% from the ft line?

I'm still pissed. Blowouts are entertaining in a morbid sort of way where it's just like, whatever.

You outplay a team for 90% of the game and get punished on every mistake down the stretch and forget how to play basketball and miss every opportunity you can versus a Heat team that won on a game winner last game against you, and a game where Paolo choked in Miami last year as well?? Yeah **** all the way off.

Maybe he did just suck. It happens. I think the injuries just makes his bad game worse because we all just want to get back on track and it isn’t happening.

Abnormally low shooting can be a sign of fatigue too.

I'm giving him some grace because man did miss like 30 games and majority of the time he couldn't do anything.....shape wise he's there but I don't think he has his rhythm back yet.... Before the injury no free throw issues he looked good... Since coming back he's been off but I think it's more of a rhythm thing not so much a conditioning issue, though that is a part of it

Was Goga actually on a minutes restriction? Seems really weird after coming back from concussion protocol.
He was +21 in 22 minutes.

Yes. However we could have used 2 more minutes of him in the 4th.

Desmond Bane sprained his oblique and after coming back played like absolute **** for the next 3 weeks.

Paolo tore his oblique and was out for injury for 4x the amount of time as Bane was. He also plays alot more physically than Bane and carries more weight

So no, the expectation that he should be playing like he was the first 5 games by now, doesnt really make sense, ya know?

Return to Orlando Magic
