Also, Phoenix seems to play out of their minds against the Clippers. You go on the GB and people act like the Suns are a bunch of bums besides Durant. Meanwhile, Booker always seems to turn back into his HOF self against the Clippers, Jones looks like an all star, and Plumlee actually looks like a serviceable player rather than the bum he was for the Clippers- very frustrating.

The more inconsistent these calls are game by game the more I'm convinced these crooked ass refs have money on the game. The calls are all over the place.

Another factor for the lackluster start for the Clippers is, they're f'n tired because of the idiotic schedule Nosferatu has the Clippers playing after the postponed game. Dude is a Laker fan, I'm convinced...lol

Also, every foul Plumlee got away with this game he was ALWAYS called for while he was a Clipper. It's a gotdamn joke at this point

I know we were right there several times despite so much not going right but it’s still a deflating loss.

Aside from the refs, until the Clippers start shooting 3s better it's like they are playing with a 10 point handicap- you cannot shot 3s this poorly and expect to compete with good to great teams every night- it is too much to overcome

Missing our best perimeter defender Kris Dunn and the Suns were sick from out there.

Could be as simple as that.

KPJ - scoreless
Batum + Bamba - No points, no rebs (I mentioned b4 I rather have Plumlee back)

Get on that phone Frank.

This is going to be a play-in team if we're still relying on scrubs like KPJ and Bamba after the deadline.

KPJ is the new whipping boy lol. He has his good nights and bad nights but he's playing for the minimum, still trying to find his game, and has no defined role. Yes, we do have a hole at the backup 5, and so far it looks like Father Time has caught up with Batum.

But T-Mann is our 5th-highest paid player [excluding PJ Tucker] and has fallen off the map. Plus he's signed for another THREE YEARS guaranteed at $15M a year. I wonder what his trade value even is. In the meantime, Coffey [also playing for nearly the minimum] has lapped him, playing 34 minutes last night, which is twice as many as he should.

[Also noted above is that Kris Dunn is our best perimeter defender, and he would have taken some of those minutes. That easily could have made the difference in a game the Suns only won by 2, and only because they shot 46.8% on 3s. We did not get killed at the 4/5.]

8 points from the bench is awful. Need a real point guard to back up Harden. Also think it's time to give Kobe another shot and cut back on Batum's minutes. Can Kai Jones set a decent screen and rebound now cause Bamba will be in need of a new team soon. Only lost by two, but not one win against Phoenix, Minnesota, Houston, and OKC this season is disturbing.

Not new, I've been down on KPJ all season. He can put up some nice statlines sometimes, but he's just not a winning player. The Rockets got better when he left. He seems like the kind of player who, if he ever figures it out, it'll be in his late 20s or early 30s after he bounces around to a few more teams.

We'll see. Last night was one of KPJ's bad games but I've seen steady improvement and it's there in the stats. And it's not only you making him the whipping boy, there's plenty of folks on X/Twitter as well. The Clipper negatariat seems to run as a pack.

Pro or con. Mann has always been teacher's pet but even they are admitting that there's no there there. It's not that he sucks, it's that he doesn't produce. He has one good game then 2 or 3 games where he just runs up and down the floor. By contrast, KPJ's bad games seem to be BAD, thus more conspicuous. But the point here is that blaming guys playing for the minimum while giving a pass to the guys who are getting PAID makes no sense.

In gross terms, KJP is 7th in minutes but 6th in points, 4th in rebs and 2nd in assists. In the NBA, you gotta get after it, and he does.
