PWill had a solid game off the bench but why are they acting like he was the MVP of the game and hyping him up in the end lol ?

Because his confidence has been in the gutter. Dude has been blowing open dunks, dribbling off his foot and throwing passes out of bounds like it was his job. If they can get his chin up and stop playing the worst ball of his life they are gonna do it.

Also Jalen Smith is an adorable nerd. I love that goof.
I get that Pat had a good game after a while but usually the best players are mentioned and interviewed after the game.

The starting 5 were better than him and Matas/Terry/Smith were also as affective as Pat. Not only does he get undeserved playing time and contract extension, now hes getting undeserved post game interviews too.

What did I miss? He finished the game...

It is a family situation?

He is about to have his third child.

Yep, he's taking the next few games off for paternity leave, and I assume the Bulls are happy to keep him healthy while they explore trades.

So obvious that Ball is the 3-D guy that we wanted Pat to be...Also shows what I've been preaching that you can play both Giddey and Ball together if we keep both. Williams also needs to stay on the bench where he actually plays better with a bigger role and a chip on his shoulder. Same thing should happen to Coby when he comes back.

We finally make a lineup and rotation change - look good, and now we'll immediately pivot as Zach goes on paternity leave.

Such is life.

We've been doing ourselves a disservice for years through a combination of poorly constructed rosters that we've then expounded on with poor lineups and rotations.

Should be an interesting 9 days as we head to the trade deadline.

Was a lot of fun watching the lineup of Ayo-Terry-Matas-Smith get and then build a lead. Was Phillips the 5th guy out there?

Phillips hitting his head on the backboard going for the block attempt was insane. Put that guy in the dunk contest too. My god.

Impressive as that was, Adam said on the broadcast that LaVine has the highest recorded vertical on the team.

If you could combine any two players on the team who would it be? For me, Giddey and Lonzo.

This is the type of game that lulls you into thinking the Bulls should be buyers or even go all in. But you have to stop forgetting about losing to the Wizards, short handed 76ers, Portland, Hornets, Warriors HUGE. and at least a dozen games that this kind of effort would have had different results.

Yeah Pat looked good off the bench, where did they end up last year playing Caruso at the PF? Do you think Ayo at the 4 is going to work out any better? Sometimes the phrase trap game comes up when a team overlooks an opponent. Well this and games like the win against Boston are trap games. You see the Bulls play the right way, pass the ball, get everyone involved, focus on the defense and they beat a top tier team. It's been that way for the past 4 years. You just can't fall into the trap of believing they've turned any corner.

I don't think there's many left that have that kind of hope . I was firmly on board with this team a month ago but since then it's been a disaster .

No, I think after the deadline Matas will be starting at the 4 because Billy will have been given new marching orders.
