I suppose I'd give up 3 1st for Fox in this scenario... maybe even Dunn.

I would give up 3 FRP for Fox but we should keep Dunn.

This still applies. Keep him away from the Suns.

So in the likely event of not being able to get Butler for ourselves (not shedding any tears over this really), Shouldn't we at least try and explore being a facilitator to these teams that actually could land him so we can get some pieces/assets back??

And on the flippity:

Since when did Beal say he'll wave his NTC for Sacramento? I don't see that happening personally. I think that Brooklyn is a good spot for Fox, but in the off-season. Which is when Sacramento should do this trade.

I'll say this. I realize there's 0 chance we have at Fox.
It would be cool though if the Suns were the team he wanted to go to.

But realistically, I think it's Houston. He'd fit so well there.

That was a dumb tweet. Richards has been a huge addition.

He's been really good for sure and outplayed his previous role too. He's a great example of what's possible for a player's growth in a different environment/expanded role! Sometimes all a player might need to break out is a chance in a new situation and environment. :D

Anything is possible and now there are more destinations in the mix.

Sunny enough there, right? They are still competing. Less than 2-hour plane ride to L.A.

I don't see it happening either. I just like to poke fun at new trade ideas. I am actually unsure what teams are interested in Fox that will have the assets to trade for him and still remain competitive.

Fox has only one team in mind and is pulling a Jimmy Butler.

Fox actually wouldn't fit that well in Houston unless they moved Sengun to open up the lane tbh. Iirc Houston reportedly likes Booker more than Fox for that reason (also Booker fits with Amen better).

But hey anything can happen.

Wait... if the Kings trade Fox, then they must be willing to trade Sabonis. Oh.... what a dream that would be.

Fox, Lyles, +(minimum scrub player, their choice) for Beal, Tyus, and 3 1sts.

I would be willing to part with Oso to sweeten the deal, but no Dunn.

That would be an amazing trade for us...too good to happen.

I remember like...months and months ago, maybe a year or more even, saying that (along with others here) that stars actually do become available more often than most people think so you don't (necessarily) have to overpay. And that part of the reason that the KD trade sucked is that the Nets got everything they wanted because Ishbia was impatient.

Yeah...

That's kinda what I think too. Plus a Reed Sheppard and Amen backcourt seems great as they cover for alot of the others weaknesses. The theoretical Reed anyways, he hasn't done much so far.

I still think Booker is a perfect fit for them. As for Fox, I wonder where he wants to go. I again like Brooklyn, he and CamJo could play off each other nicely and Claxton is a good 5 for some lobs. My opinion is thats the team Fox should push for, but who knows.

Personally, would prefer Sabonis over any other kind of deal including Jimmy or Fox.
Beal, and picks for Sabonis and Murray.
Dunn in a separate deal.

Sabonis is only 28 years old. A few months older than Book. Would be a perfect match. One that James Jones was trying to make happen a few years ago. I'd be willing to include Dunn since Sabonis isn't on the back half of his career just yet.

Now Sabonis is a player I would trade Dunn for and multiple FRPs.

The trade was Sabonis for Ayton I believe.

At this point - Beal for Butler, if only one FRP but don't extend Butler - just let him opt in or out.
