It's Best of 1's until the Finals, which isn't really doing it for me. I'd be happy to see the NFL style of 2 top teams with byes and the others do Bo3's. Finals Bo5? I'd settle for that unless they go full top-8 teams each conference and Bo3's all the way through.

I like that Best of 3, and then Best of 5, for the Finals.
Plenty of time for an extended G League Finals before the NBA Finals.

We'd also get a better look at the Players in a Playoff atmosphere. G League audiences are really picking up.
I notice that sponsorship is picking up, too. That will be a key to promoting G League Games.

I agree with this post, just think Cleveland, OKC, SLC, Valley Suns, Memphis, Rip City (Portland) would be better served in more AAA/secondary cities.

It may not be that easy, moving Teams.
Also, OKC Blue won the Finals last Season; playing in the same arena as the parent Team.

I advocate for more than 31 Teams. I'm thinking like 40-48 G League Teams.
So, to your point, other secondary cities could also get a Team.

It just may be unaffiliated with an NBA Team, or partially affiliated.

Edit:
MLB, for instance, has 4 Minor League Teams associated with each Major League Team, but a total of 208 Teams.

The GL PLAYOFFS are not that far away, we have some compelling fights for the top of the table, and a lot of teams still yet in contention!

EC:

Magic, Celtics in control.
Knicks, Go-Go (WAS), Swarm (CHA), and Mad Ants (IND) are close behind for the top-6 teams.

4 teams within striking distance of the 6th seed (DET/IND/BKN/MIL/DEN), all within 2 games of the 6-seed.

WC:
Spurs, Kings, Stars (UTA) all solid top-3
Warriors, Suns, Vipers (HOU) within 3 games of the 3 seed.

2 teams close to the 6-seed, OKC, and Skyforce (MIA)

Lakers and others have to play catchup. [my pre-season pick, Iowa Wolves won 4 games ]

There are only a few weeks left in the GL season, with games finishing up by the end of March!

Some notes from yesterday's elimination games --

Losing teams:
Capital City Go-Go: have been eliminated in 4 consecutive playoffs, and twice consecutively in the first round.
Greensboro Swarm: First ever playoff appearance was a loss
Rio Grande Valley Vipers: Have qualified for 10 playoffs in a row, having won the GL Finals twice in that span. 4 Titles since 2009 season makes the Houston affiliate one of the most successful in the GL, but they are eliminated.
SC Warriors: Lost in consecutive playoffs

Winning teams:
Indiana Mad Ants: Won it's first playoff game in 9 years (2014-15 season, where Indiana (Fort Wayne) won to make it into the DL-Finals, but lost to SCW)
Maine: Wins in consecutive playoffs, looks to repeat Finals appearances
SLC Stars: Won first playoff game in 17 years (last winning a playoff game in 2007-08 season, and the Stars' last playoff win was the DL Championship Final vs Austin)
Valley Suns: In its inaugural season, made it to playoffs, and won its first game.
